"and that which is against the Tao will soon cease to be"?

Recommended Posts

One may wonder how many millions or billions of years that "will soon cease to be" entails? or as brought up in another thread - is indirectly part of the process of Tao?

...btw, at the end of the cosmic cycle (with total cosmic dissolution) such becomes a moot point anyway, along with such a "soon" being a long and short ways off - like half an eye-blink of Tao.

your take?

This is just another way of saying that whatever goes against natural order is basically working against the causes of its existence.

That's really all it is.

It's a simple idea.

whats a "natural order"?

is basically working against the causes of its existence.

why would it do that?

It's a simple idea.

Thats why it is  in DDJ.

"Natural Order" = "the way things naturally happen".

We could say "Natural Way" or "Way of Nature" in terms of Earth.

Or, the "Order of the Universe".

The way movement and change happen.

Tao.

well there is also the idea that without some kind of order chaos would have nipped any kind of order in the bud long before it ever came into effect...

Chaos is nothing but an opportunity for a new beginning; a new order, if you will.

There really are natural orders in the universe.  This is being with the nature of Tao.

When we try to alter the natural order it may appear that we have been successful for a while.  But no matter how many barriers we build Tao will either destroy the barriers or go around them.

No matter how many levees are built along the Mississippi River it is going to breach those levees periodically.  The waters will find a Way.

I see "un-manifest potential" as such an "opportunity", whereas what I meant before was more like willful chaos or anti-Tao that Tao does not nip in the bud even though the T.T.C. says, "that which is against Tao will soon cease to be" considering such a "that" is apparently in force during the entire cosmic cycle in one way or another and thus does not soon cease to be in principle or in action.

Non-sustainable practices conclude.

Irreguardless of all human choices,

the earth and other planets become consumed by the sun after it inevitably looses fission stability. This resuling mass is then consumed by a supermassive black hole along with the rest of the stars in that galaxy. The energy in the matter is sprayed out as energy to eventually condense as new particles to condense into baby star-stuff for the cycle to repeat. The Tao includes the how of this cycle, not the why.

The condition of Now is not as important as it's level of appreciation.

Unlimited Love,

Tao does not need the illusion of why, it is the cause of this flow of shared energy. Some portion with fleeting manifest forms perceived by human body perception limitations for a brevity.
