Every cloud has a plutonium lining.

Fifty years ago this month, Britain began testing atom bombs in Australia. The tests left thousands of Australians with serious health problems, and those who are still alive are struggling to get compensation. Aidan Windle reports.

At 8am on October 3, 1952, Britain detonated its first atom bomb aboard the HMS Plym, which was anchored offshore of the Montebello Islands, 80 nautical miles off northern Western Australia. The 25kilogram nuclear fission device vaporised the Plym and its surroundings in a test codenamed Operation Hurricane.

“The main man-made contribution to the exposure of the world's population [to radiation] has come from the testing of nuclear weapons in the atmosphere, from 1945 to 1980. Each nuclear test resulted in unrestrained release into the environment of substantial quantities of radioactive materials, which were widely dispersed in the atmosphere and deposited everywhere on the Earth’s surface.”

It's another example of the "progress" that people have been entranced into building for their owners.

Plugged into corporate constructs and given fear, people will apparently build whatever they are told to.

Because it will "protect" them.

Against what?

People with bombs?

So to protect, they will detonate their own bomb in their own yard?

Seems irrational.

That's why there is media and education.

To make the insane seem actually necessary.

To make oppression appear as salvation.

Etc.

Well if it makes you feel any better the US's last nuclear test was in 1992, over 23 years ago.   With treaties and cutting edge computers they're not really needed.  Its shocking there were as many as 140 in 1961.  Much of it was simply an expensive dangerous cold war pissing contest between the US and Russia with France being curiously high, perhaps a Napoleonic complex

A summary table of all the nuclear testing that has happened since 1945 is here: Worldwide nuclear testing counts and summary.

Two bombs detonated in war time, both Nagasaki and Hiroshima have shown amazing resilience.

Over two thousand bombs detonated in peace time, many sites were paradise and someone's backyard.

Australia became the English puppet, hosting over 800 nuclear experiments and 29 atomic bomb detonations, leaving inland Australia/native land uninhabitable for the next 24000-500000 years.

The problem is that anything you do to the planet affects everyone and everything in it; that's why humanity is so messed up today mentally and energetically.
