Hello and welcome to the forum. You are accepted. Glad to have you as a member and good luck on the forum. Nice intro.

Please take the time to read the two posts pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum terms and rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

Hey

I'm a newbie

And like a newbie I went poking around looking at lot's and lot's of interesting threads. But now I'm lost.

Can anyone link me to Tree threads.

One was about talking to trees.

I got a sacred tree. It's a wonderful Mortan Bay Fig at the back of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens on Tree Lane.

This Tree talked back ... Check this out:

That's 2 consecutive weeks of the front page of my local rag (local news paper).

My sacred tree is saying

"Debbie, You are enough"

the next week the sacred tree identified itself as the message sender by having a nun sit on it saying

"Discover Your Om"

I am not joking. I am serious.

Ok

Look for "photostream" and poke or click it.

Hopfully the pic's will appear.

Then poke or click the ninth picture to make it big enough to read.

Good Luck

Hi EbbTide,

forgive me for stating the obvious, but try using the search box (top right). ;)

Hopefully you'll be able to find what you're looking for.

Nice Tree btw.

the in-house search function isn't the greatest. I get the best results by going to google and searching something like:

thedaobums: trees

Still not perfect, though

"soaring crane"

I found the search in-house search function and typed "talking to trees" the in house search function found one and it was MY POST hahaha.

Then I put "trees" in and it found three. All from THIS THREAD heeheehee.

I will now take your second piece of advise and put:

"thedaobums: trees" into the Google search bar.

Wish me luck

Monty Python's Life of Brian -

Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life (Lyrics)

Some things in life are bad they can really make you mad

Other things just make you swear and curse

When you're chewin' on life's gristle, don't grumble give a whistle

And this'll help things turn out for the best

And always look on the bright side of life

Always look on the light side of life

If life seems jolly rotten there's something you've forgotten

And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing

When you're feeling in the dumps don't be silly chumps

Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing

And always look on the bright side of life

Come on, always look on the bright side of life

For life is quite absurd and death's the final word

You must always face the curtain with a bow

Forget about your sin, give the audience a grin

Enjoy it it's your last chance anyhow

So always look on the bright side of death

Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit when you look at it

Life's a laugh and death's a joke it's true

You'll see it's all a show keep 'em laughing as you go

Just remember that the last laugh is on you

And always look on the bright side of life

Always look on the right side of life

Come on Brian, cheer up

Always look on the bright side of life

Always look on the bright side of life

Worse things happen at sea you know

Always look on the bright side of life

Always look on the bright side of life

Always look on the bright side of life
