non-acceptance

Recommended Posts

The problem I had for many years was that I thought I had to "try" real hard to accept my Self. I made a huge problem out of it, where in truth, there needn't have been one.

Finally I realized that the best way to "accept" my Self, Divine Nature, or whatever, was to stop TRYING to and to see no NEED to.

Then it became super-easy because at that point I didn't have to do a damn thing, because my Self was ALREADY true.

Try a non-acceptance!

I have much empathy for your experience roger

In my world TRY stands for To Resist Yourself.

My operative intent now is release and simple being.

He Roger.  Nice view.

I use the word "try" often because it is the best word to use to express my intention.

I've not had much problem with accepting myself.  It's just that I haven't liked many of the things I saw.  I have tried to change those things.  Hasn't always worked.

Nice.

Like what was described in the Tao of Pooh...Winnie never tried, he just was.

I have to say, this is a very tricky practice still for me.

Indeed.

You can layer it a bit. You can be while trying, and if that happens sometimes the trying layer falls away and you can do whatever you're doing without trying. I sometimes forget that anything goes, then I realise that I can't do anything other than be, whether I realise I'm being or not.
