I am hello.

Recommended Posts

Hello, Tao Bums.

I'm a Taoism enthusiast, long time lurker, first time poster. Figured I'd get involved in the great discussions here, share what little knowledge I have and maybe learn something. Maybe.

Not sure how much of an introduction is usual, but I'm software engineer turned audio engineer, both of which are disciplines to which I've found the Way to be very applicable. I've been studying Taoism for about a decade now and am slowly but surely collecting and pouring over various Taoist scriptures. I haven't gotten involved in Qigong or Tai Chi, but am looking for someone locally under whom I can study Taoist meditation practices. I also write for fun, both non-fiction on my blog and whatever strikes my fancy in the handful of books I've written but never published. Usually philosophy.

Anyway, enough about me. Tao Bums, tell me about you!

Hello chewingofthecud, and welcome to the forums!

Glad to have you aboard :-)

Please take the time to read the two posts pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum terms and rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started.

For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day.

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you,

SC and the TTB team
