Are there any high level qi gong masters/healers in Europe? Most seem to be in Asia or the US...

Recommended Posts

It seems that the majority are in Asia (unsurprisingly) and the US. Are there any in Europe?

I imagine that in the US, the teachers have a bigger following and are more well known, but it seems as though Europe does not have the calibre of masters/healers for some reason. Is it that they are unknown or do the top guys get drawn to the US?

Are you looking for something specific or just comparing?

I'd like to visit a high level healer/teacher to try and help me with my health problems. Ideally i'd like to go and see someone like Chunyi Lin or Micheal Lomax, but travelling to Asia or the USA is not possible for me at the moment, so I hope to find someone in Europe who specialises in healing qi gong.

Thanks for the links. I thought there must be some high level healers in Europe, but they don't seem to be as widely known.

Any other recommendations?

Maybe they just don't toot their own horns AS LOUDLY as some :-)

Lam Kam Chuen -- I posted the link. He's as 'real' as you're going to find anywhere, lives in London, and takes private appointments. He's been concentrating on healing for a few years now.

But honestly, I have a feeling that you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. I go to my naturopath whenever I need assistance. She can fix anything.

There are Bagua teachers in Europe. This art will heal you completely...it will teach you how to fish rather than relying on someone to feed you with fish all the time.

Good luck.

Care to expand on this? If I start doing Bagua my health will miraculously heal?

No.

It was sarcasm. The idea that something will completely heal me, without any knowledge of my issue is a bit far fetched. If only things were that simple.

I appreciate the links posted. Hopefully I will be able to see someone who can assist me on the healing journey, and put me on the right path with exercises for self healing.

Not so far fetched :)

well, he's got some heavy issues and the idea that he should just 'learn Bagua' and all will be solved ... no, I have to agree with his conclusion.

'Spend the next five years studiously practicing Bagua under the tutelage of a highly qualified expert and all your problems will resolve themselves' would be more accurate, imo. And then I'd agree. But he's not in that position, and most likely not in the condition to take something like that on.

But, yes, I know that all fortuitous journeys begin with one step :-)

Just for completeness, I must point out that unfortuitous journeys begin the same way...

There is no Dan or Grade ranking in QiGong.

Yes miraculously you will. Find out for yourself instead of trying to intellectualise or debate it on the Internet as many seem to be addicted to or good at it (yabba, yabba, yabba and little action). Prcatice instead of talk and or thinking that a healer is going to do anything for you in the long run. You are the one who needs to change within and Bagua is the ultimate tool to change all the conditions that are causing you health issues which generally speaking can be all narrowed down to one or two causes (including karma).

well, I don't play bagua, but the qi gong I have practiced daily for the last three years, has resolved all of my physical issues and some of them were not minor...

crippling pain for 14 years, unable to walk without assistance for some of those years and nearly losing my left foot level of issues.

blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, excess weight are all minor, but were alleviated as well.

the one thing qi gong did not help with, was an irregular heartbeat, but my cardiologist zapped that...

and another great surgeon dealt with a hernia in short order...

In the end, why not try it, before just assaulting it and dismissing?

or not, to each their own...

When you are chronically ill, It is irritating when people spout dogma about healing. Especially when they know nothing about the problem.

I asked about Qi Gong healers/masters in Europe and the majority were kind enough to post some links and answer my question. I did not ask "will Qi gong healing magically make me better and i'd prefer not to do any work myself, thank you very much"

Some people on here cannot seem to help trying to impart their knowledge and wisdom upon others, even if it is not asked for.

Again thanks to everyone who answered my question.
