Good interview with respected Buddhist teacher on meditation and anti-depressants.

As someone who has had repeated bouts of depression for a very long time, and taken anti-depressants before, I found some of the insights in this interview very interesting and feel they confirmed what I felt at the time of being on them.

Meditation was for me much clearer, enjoyable and sustained while on anti-depressants. I can't sit for much more than an hour, more likely 40 mins these days without getting foggy, whereas back then it wasn't uncommon for me to sit for a couple of hours, occasionally more.

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for that link. In the past I sort of villified antidepressents, but recent events have pushed me out of my overly-rigid, anti-pharmaceutical newage rut. Yeah, they´ve got sideeffects to be sure. Then again, being depressed has some heavy sideeffects too. When you need them, you need them.
