So, folks, TTB,

when it´s all said and done, and the fat lady signs;

Isn´t it all about storytelling?

agreed. But seriously, if we strip away the old narrative, what is it all about?

Classic narrative form...

Boy gets case.

Boy loses case.

Boy gets case back again.

It's all down to stories innit mate?

One way or the other that's all we're doing.

Telling reassuring tales around the campfire in hopes of keeping the shadows at bay.

The whole of life is just like watching a film. Only it's as though you always get in ten minutes after the big picture has started, and no-one will tell you the plot, so you have to work it out all yourself from the clues.

(Terry Pratchett, Moving Pictures).

seriously, take away the story, then what?

Take away the stories and all that's left is life and living.

Did we really need the stories in the first place? They only screwed up our mind.

Some stories are OK though.

Can't beat a good yarn.

I'm never without a good book on the go.

Fact or fiction depending on what I fancy at the time.

But then I will suggest that life can be more exciting than any story one can read in a book. And the key is that we experience the story first hand because we are living it.

Reading the stories made up by people who have never lived it themselves is like going to a peep show and having to masturbate.

This is actually a grieving process.

It´s easy to talk about surrender, but actually doing it...

Talk about conversation killer

...

I bare my breast like the Minoan Priestess.

Come on.

Hit me more.

If thou cuttest me, wouldst I bleed?

Gyeltsen's skin turned the knife.

Just don't try chokin' me.

Not evah.

I ain't chokin'.

xxx

ps I'm an open book.
