Does Anyone Have Power?

Recommended Posts

Some things just aren't measurable by mainstream science and I, for one would like to keep it that way. Questions will remain unanswerable. It is this constant questioning of the unknown which keeps us flexible and pliable.

If we knew all the answers to life's great mysteries, the universe would be a very stale and stagnant place.

I find so much treasure living the questions...

I disagree. The universe is limitless, and therefore the number of questions is limitless. Refusing to answer the questions we have to try and preserve the sense of mystery just means that we'll end up gridlocked and that that sense of mystery will grow stale. It's answering the mysteries we have that allows us to move onto the next set of mysteries.

But some mysteries will remain mysteries.

magnetism was one such mystery

people were killed- because it was the work of the devil

it's good (& safer) to uncover as many mysteries as possible :)

I know someone with extraordinary qi power.

He has no wish or desire to be measured/studied or put in the limelight whatsoever.

He wants to remain humble, sincere and genuine.

If people wish to know of his skills, they will find ways to seek him out.

'When the student is ready, the teacher appears.'

People need to learn, to be awakened.

If not, this happens:

Where's Their teacher?

This happens daily:

I have cookies- but I don't share... because I am humble.

See what I am getting at? :)

This has nothing to do with power or the theme/topic of this thread. This is urban youths running amok without any consideration for others. They don't want/need a qigong teacher. Their world is a million miles away from any cultivation practice.

Exactly.

The person I healed of blindness (was only in one eye) told the receptionist, nurse and optometrist.

Only the optometrist chose to not believe, and just said sometimes things like that happen by themselves.

The nurse and receptionist believed immediately- due to the person who was blind had regained full use of the blind eye.

After the conversation, the nurse and receptionist seemed very annoyed with the doctor's attitude.

I understand what I am trying to achieve, prove to the scientific world, is probably impossible.

Either they already know, and do not want the public at large, to be aware of this (pharmaceutical industry alone would go broke, as well as Oncology, etc)--

Or the western science world just wants remain in the dark, for whatever reasons -political, religious, red tape, etc

I can give it my best try, and leave it at that.

I really want to pass on what I know.

The world is in a dark place, and people seem more into commercialism and being self-absorbed, than ever.

If only a couple of people, in every town, in every city, in every state, in every country, had extreme shen/Qi ability- the world's light would be greatly amplified.

Well Reiki worked for me. In fact I was very impressed with my experience of it.

My friend who is student of Mopai for well over 15 years said John has been required to heal many reiki and kejawen students who went too deep in their training.

John even said from his own mouth these practices are powerful but can mess your head up becos they are too fast and use spirits !!!

Yes Too Fast ! Not Fake.

This was music to my ears, as it confirmed to me that....

#1 Mopai is not the only way to amazing power as some people think.

2# Reiki,Tenaga Dalam,Kejawen, are in fact very real & legitimate energy/spiritual building practices.

Thanks,

I see two complete different motivations in regards to this. There are people who want to show special abilities because they are looking for fame or fortune, and there are people who are willing to show or use such things under certain circumstances because they want to help other people, or because they want to show other people what is possible. People who want to show or use such things to help others, or to demonstrate what is possible, will likely not make a big deal out of it, and may otherwise keep a pretty low profile about this sort of thing. If someone wants to help further the scientific understanding of such things, and they are not just out to try to make a name for them self or to try to make money from doing so, then I personally don't see a problem with it. On the other hand, even if a person has only good intentions but they show feats that are much beyond say just basic qi manipulation and projection, such as burning objects at a distance, or making things disappear or materialize out of thin air, or levitation, or whatever, then they may well draw a lot more attention to them self than they bargained for, and a lot of the attention may well be quite undesirable. It is possible to participate in scientific studies while still keeping a low profile if a person really wants to. All a person would have to do is request that those conducting the experiments don't ever reveal or publish their real name or their picture. It all depends on motivations, and using a bit of good sense as well. :)

But some mysteries will remain mysteries.

Perhaps, perhaps not - the only way to find out is to try and solve them.

Real chi is not one of those things, it can and has been measured/quantified/documented by science.

If you guys want to prove this scientifically you'll need a being at JC's level or beyond.

A bunch of people staring at goats isn't going to help matters.

'real' chi ?

There is only chi. Not real or unreal.

Chi = mind.

It's obvious by now that 'the establishment' won't accept any evidence that they can possibly get away with denying on even the flimsiest of grounds, so what is needed is something visible, overt, immediate, controllable and repeatable (and someone who can do that and is willing to act as a lab rat for a decade or two while they basically convince the scientific community one University at a time). Remember that in doing so, you're effectively destroying the worldview, life's work and legacy of the very people you're trying to convince, so it's going to take quite a bit of force to really shove it down their throat, metaphorically speaking.

What is "real chi"?

Where was measured from?

How do we know that is the "real chi" that was being measured but not something else?

You are of course correct, there is only only chi.

However there are an astronomical number of idiots who think they are more powerful than JC.

These people would never be able to demonstrate abilities, because they have none to demonstrate.

When I talk about "Real" Chi I am talking about demonstrations from masters like JC.

Yes, I have power-- but if spring doesn't hurry and get here, I may not be able to stand another $700 electricity bill until my new "big boy" desk job with the state begins in April.

Nashville Electric Service has been the bane of my existence lately...

:D

I think he just means strong enough to do something.

I don't think qi = mind, since how to get the strongest qi is to blank the mind :P.

$700?! Do you live in a mansion or something? We have a 5 bedroom 2 story house, and gas/electric is $200 p/m total!

That's a big part of it, but the other part of it is there are no qualified candidates who are willing to step up to the bat to prove it.

JC was an exception.

Wim Hof is an exception.

Technically JC wasn't an exception :P since he ended up bailing out after only doing the brief testing that ended up on youtube. From what I remember, he never actually went beyond that like they had planned.

No those aren't blank, those are just slowly thinking... about what they saw on fox news last night...
