sean Posted July 9, 2007 Via Lines and Colors Ode to Summer is a beautiful little animation in which what appears to be a traditional Chinese ink painting comes to life. A dragonfly flits through lotus flowers, koi swim through graceful reeds below the rippled surface of a clear pond and a young woman sits amid calligraphically drawn rocks and reads us a brief poem extolling the beauty of summer. Read more I remember when this artist was working on this piece on an art forum I used to frequent 5 or 6 years ago. Looks like it's finally finished.
