Horse

Recommended Posts

I like the horse on the forum banner.

My memory won't recall all the info but somewhere in the area of Northwest China is the last small herd of the ancient line of all horses on the planet. These are the horses that migrated from North America before they were all killed off or became extinct in NA.

i think this is evidence of the power of suggestion theory.

one is aware that it is the day that the year of the horse begins

and everyone starts seeing a horse in an ambiguous rorschach test

added for the feminists:

A woman's like cactus and cactus can hurt
'Cause she's just a tight-waisted winky-eyed flirt
She'll soon have your land and your pride and your gold
And bury you deep long before you grow old

A four legged friend, a four legged friend
He'll never let you down
He's honest and faithful right up to the end
That wonderful one-two-three-four legged friend

The Asian ones are the only true wild horses left and are considered a different species or subspecies. Other wild horses are domesticated animals that escaped, but the Asian herd was never domesticated. Still very small population not sure of numbers a little further from extinction than maybe 20 years ago. There is a small all male herd at local nature preserve. It was hard to establish because naturally the males will fight until they kill each other. The vets gave them heavy duty psych meds (something usually used for schizophrenics) til they got accustomed to each other and then slowly tapered it, so now they share this herd for captive breeding programs. That is all I remember. I also got to pet a rhino the day I learned about them (friend who is a vet so I got to go on a special tour).

The first time I read that I thought you said you had a pet rhino. Imagine taking that for a walk round the park. :)

Now I've heard of people having a Green House, but a Green Horse ?

Any relevance to the colour ?

I'd like it if it were more subtle and blended with the sky, but green is wood and this is Wood horse year.

Actually I just knew about the new year and was wondering what happened to the snake and what this horse was doing over there ^^

my guess it the horse ran off the snake. everyone keeps saying horse, so i reckon a horse it is.

scroll down the linked post to the second short paragraph about

On Reverting To Your Original Innocence

http://thetaobums.com/topic/14324-taoist-philosophy/

"The life of things passes by like a galloping horse. Every movement brings a change, and every hour makes a difference. What is one to do or what is one not to do? Indeed, everything will take its own course."

Tao is a galloping horse, (a green one at that)

Yeah, Chuang Tzu used the horse in a number of his stories.
