For in depth Nei kung:  http://www.tienshan.net/index.html

Nice.  I'd love to see a thread with more details on the retreat.   What the schedule is like, about costs and classes.  General philosophy and people would get there..

I know much of the information is here: http://www.tienshan.net/guidelines.html ,  but it'd be nice to have a little more info and it deserves its own thread.  It'd be great to have visitors post about there experiences there.

I am sure that some of you have come across this before but should you not have done so then it is well worth a read.

I read some of it and most of the DDJ translations are from S. Mitchell. After reading some reviews about S. Mitchell mistranslated chapters or lines I wonder how much one can stretch imagination to convey what the original text says. Have someone read that article or is there a review on it?

This is but one mans interpretation of the text of his choice. Both the translations and interpretation can mean all manner of things to different readers. It would also be a mistake to believe that a Chinese speaker would be in a better position to interpret the meaning of the DDJ.

I posted this simply because it may prove of interest to some members of this forum, nothing more. It may prove a light on the path for some readers and yet be worthless to others, Read it,  ignore it or discuss it if you must but really "have someone read the article or is there a review on it?" At some stage you will have to make your own mind up on things rather than being led by the nose.

I understand. My curiosity was that such personal or some one own interpretation doesn't help to a beginner. As I read other translations that are close to the original and its commentaries, I understand much better the content and message of the DDJ.

John Dao Productions is a venture to clarify a few basic internal arts principles.  While the author is writing from the context of the western eastern-influenced internal arts scene, fundamental principles and dynamics are universally broad.

... clarify just a few rock bottom mechanics that tie everything together.  They are simple but have been hard won.  This will be a short blog of several essays.

“John Dao” is a pseudonym chosen to represent the ideal that esoteric principles can be communicated in a way that anyone can understand and apply.

A pleasant multi-episode series that is currently on YouTube - once again, introductory level information, but well-produced viewing material.
