Gmail Anyone?

G-Mail can be useful, just make sure you know ALL the skinny on it1

If you read all the fine print, here's why they're doing it;

*All email, and internet use is monitored by super, uber, duper, mega computers. But it's all unoffically monitored..

*G-Mail is an experiment to see what what would happen if they tell customers all email is officially monitored. Are people apathetic enough to click "I Agree"?

*Read the G-Mail fine print, and it says a background program goes through all your email. It then decides which banner ads, pop ups, pop unders, cookies, will watch you, show up, and advertise on your computer, depending on what the email you're reading is about.

So say your mother send you an email telling you she wired money to you for your new college books. While you're reading the email, ads will appear for Western Union.

You go and open your next email and its from your girlfriend asking you when are you going to come over and bang her. Ads for condoms will appear. Ads for Victorias Secret underwear will appear.

*By people allowing their info to be officially read, it gives all power to the controllers, goverment, whatever. They have nothing to worry about. Instead of how it now is with them unofficially reading all your info. Cool book to read is "Digital Fortress" by Dan Brown.

IMHO use G-Mail, but don't use it for anything you wouldn't want your wife, boss, friends, kids, to find out about in the future.

G-mail is also indirectly helpful - it forced all other email competition to increase memory. G-mail is still the only email that's officially scanned. All other email providers are all still unofficially scanned.
