Daoist Alchemy: Jerry A. Johnson

Recommended Posts

It's finally out.

And if it is even 1/10th of the quality of information contained within his other books, then this will be right up there with Foundations of Internal Alchemy by Wang Mu and Taoist Yoga Alchemy and Immortality by Lu K'uan Yu.

I am quite excited about this and it is the first book I've ever waited for in my life.

I even pestered him a few times via e-mail to ask how it's coming along : )

Daoist Alchemy: Nei Gong & Wai Gong Training

If anyone lives in the US and has their hands on it already, it would be great to hear some short reviews.

Has anyone learnt from Jerry A. Johnson?

The contents are impressive. Everything one would want to know on the topic and practice methods too? Surprised he's releasing this.

I'm surprised at some of the stuff he put in the Daoist magic books! He's kinda that way :).

I think we need a "dislike" button right next to the "like" one.

We had in the past but no one liked it.

If we could find 10 people interested in splitting it, it would only cost $20 each.

I'll kick in a 20 so long as I can get the material at some point. I have no immediate need, I've got food and tea brimmed over onto the table as it is.

My feeling is it contains the practice methods, but if someone has it or is getting it and can confirm, will wait to buy it till then.

Seems to be quite a book!

I looked at the Table of Contents from the link above...

Frequently there are several topics on one page -

Hope it has the detail/depth on each topic that you guys want,

Not sure how much method or instruction could be shown or taught

In only a paragraph, or two.

But given the nature of what is being shown,

I could easily be mistaken about that. (-:

warm regards

How would we go about sharing it though?

My only concern is that certain topics only get 1 page...could be that the techniques only really need 1 page though.
