Acupuncturist new here

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I guess I have to finally post here in order to reply anywhere else :)

So, I'm an acupuncturist with a Masters in Oriental Medicine which taught me very little about Taoism apart from the class on Tai Chi and the one on qigong we had in school. I study on my own from time to time and I'm very interested in expanding my qigong for personal and professional benefit.

No prob...nice to see professionals here.

You may want to look into Stillness Movement, which is taught by forum member Ya Mu. That practice has a focus on healing others.

You may also want to check out Eastern Internal Arts' Qigong for Self Healing DVD. This has more of a self healing and wisdom focus.

Both are good for charging yourself up with qi and balancing the energies, which will benefit your work when seeing patients.

Also Spring Forest Qigong http://www.learningstrategies.com/Qigong/Home.asp I got interested in SFQ 11 years ago from the learning strategies website. SFQ website currently has a holiday special for $28 http://www.springfor...amentals-course

Also another one on this website called Flying Phoenix Qigong. Putting time into one of these 4 will make your healing even more powerful
