Bruce wanted to let the Energy Arts community

know for the first time ever he will be going

to Burning Man next week and staying in the

Red Lightning camp. He will be doing two

demonstrations and practice sessions in the

Activation Dome on Taoist Energy Arts on

Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 to 12:30.

If any of you are attending then please stop

by the camp and you are welcome to participate.

 

Burning man brings some 48,000+ people

together who make the journey to the Black

Rock Desert for one week out of the year to

be part of an experimental community, which

challenges its members to express themselves

and rely on themselves to a degree that is not

normally encountered in one's day-to-day life.

Lotta free lectures and daily classes at burning man, from physics to psychedelics. Hundreds of themed camps that share what ever the hell it is they're about. Part of it is creating and teaching your passion and piece of utopia.

Two of my friends are at the Burning Man, and both have money to burn.

It's not too expensive or wasn't. 3 years ago it was $300, for 7 or 8 days or mind blowing adventure its not that bad. For a week plus, it's a bargain, if you can make the week, burn out is high. While you're required to be totally self sufficient, the reality is I mooched like hell. Drinks, food, anything. I've tried to make up by being better organized and sharing at the regionals.

 

Speaking of other events, in a month or two there will be the after burn party in Chicago, located on the top floor of a large industrial building, 8 hours of fun.
