wanderingontheway Posted August 24, 2012 I was wondering if I could get some feed back on translations of the I Ching. I have always used the Wilhelm / Baynes. I was wondering what some other people were using, and how were they using it??
deci belle Posted August 24, 2012 (edited) hi wandering… there's lots of variation. You might do a search as this question has been asked many times in the past. There is a Chan buddhist, humanist confucian, and inner alchemic taoist I Ching series translated from original Chinese works by Thomas Cleary keyed to approaches taken by the three main cultural mainstays through the long historical thread of China. I have nine versions I refer to often. I recommend that you just take the plunge and start researching them yourself. You will find which ones are relevant for your own evolution as you wander along the way.❤ ed note: typo in 2nd paragraph Edited August 24, 2012 by deci belle
