Cooking Chi or Jing

Even though I practice Chi Gong and Nei Gong i am not sure what cooking Jing or Chi means. Is it just the condensing breathing?

The simplest explanation would be that the Lower Dantien (also sometimes translated as the golden stove) is a main storage area of chi.

 

Using certain techniques we can heat the stove. This is sometimes referred to as cooking chi or cooking the rice.

 

The substance in the stove is refined by the cooking and can be stored or circulated depending on your intentions and goals.
