love and the afterlife?

Recommended Posts

In reading graceful exits and some of the tibetan book of the dead, it seems like death is a solo journey any practices that would bring two people closer together so that they could enjoy the divine or afterlife together? posibly tantra?

Possible.

Other non-death time we often need to back up a few steps so that we can see the entire picture.

Of course, taking breaks is good too - a time for recovering our energies.

We generally do that anyway through attachments. But, if you want to do it simultaneously, like you and your partner know Phowa and have both mastered it, and you both feel it's time to go, you can possibly engage in karmamudra (sexual embrace with spiritual intent) highest yoga tantra (anuttarayogatantra) practices, which you'd also have to master, both get to culmination through that, and then eject out of the crown through the phowa mastership together focusing on the exact same realm as destination.

We aren't the right people to ask about this I don't think as you won't master practices of Karmamudra or Phowa by talking to anyone online. You'd have to go to qualified Masters of Mahamudra and/or Dzogchen.

I would suggest you send the follow text to your lover/wife/husband, without any explanation: What is their simple response to a simple question:

"Do you want next life together?"

Dear Mewtwo,

It is sweet that you share this concern.

In my experience, the form that beings take in this life may be differ significantly to the presence of the soul form. There is a period after death, where souls usually stop to do some individually focused 'processing'. Thereafter, the path a soul continues depends upon many factors; including previous lifetimes, agreements that have been made, and transpiration at the waypoint. It also depends on many other spirits and the state of the universe.

The soul actually has many aspects of form and it can be seen through the eyes. One of those forms is not as an 'individual' entity, per se, but as part of a larger constellation of celestial bodies. Which means, partly, that our soul composition is comprised of relationships to others.

There are many methods of increasing the possibility of reuniting with another soul, some of which depends on what you do together in this life time- from unintentional things, to simple things, to grand things! And, I believe that you and the other will each have an opportunity to discuss this individually with the beings at the 'way point' if you desire.

But remember, souls don't look like or act like 'people'. Who we are on one plane, in one aspect of existence, is not necessarily the same as else where. Time changes as we pass through planes of space, and so will form. The reunion of souls may not mean the same to you in another life, in another form, in another circumstance or way of being.

So, my suggestion is not to be attached to any one outcome or who someone appears to be to you in this lifetime. Love them now while you are both here together. Love them well. Love as purely as you know how. The 'right' things will come to pass. Do not worry.

Grace to you and your love one, Mila
