Actually, I don't see any mystery in the origin of man. My simple-brained logic seems to explain all I need to know about the subject.

 

Of course Mr. Heston really isn't God. He just played the role on TV. Oh well.

I don't know why, but Darwinists always seem to attack anything that is different or outside their philosophy, including this program it seems.

Science isn't perfect but they at least do make great efforts to correct themselves when they gain evidence that what they held as true is based on errors.

 

Creationists and IDers don't do this. They continually build on the lies they had previously told the people who are gullible enough to listen to them. And yes, there are lots of these people, peope who are afraid to venture into the truth of reality.

 

It is so sad that these people have such a fixed desire to make everyone think exactly as they do. I guess that need is based in fear - fear that what you believe is false, so the more support you have the stronger you become, able to leap tall building with a single bound.

I do. I definitely see more expansion into ideas about aliens and advanced knowledge. Viewing ancient accounts from a technological viewpoint, from the viewpoint and interpretation of potential ancient technology, will be more and more popular. Also, I see the philosophies and ideas of all the world's religions coming together, being integrated, more and more.

i just find it curioyus and interesting that this seems to be a common theme that spans across different cultures.

Well, aliens are truly the missing link here that reinterpret and connect both the Bible and development of humans on Earth.

 

This is transcending the whole paradigm between Christian Fundys & Scientific Fundys now - either option of which which was always somewhat faulty and lacking to begin with.

 

As I've said before, we are entering a new paradigm where the old Baby Boomer hardlines are getting outdated and obliterated by groundbreaking new revelations about our past and present reality. Which means that yes, if you are a diehard Baby Boomer atheist liberal - your worldview and interpretation of reality are just as skewed by personal bias as a Bible-thumping Christian Fundy...and both are facing ideological extinction as close-minded dinosaurs.

Yes, that worked for me. And I agree that most Nothern Native American Nations have man being created from earth (soil or water). And I also agree that many other cultures have similar myths.
