Hmmm since the topic of oil seems to make people think of scams....

What does this make you think?

Or am I going to hear more of the don't manipulate nature rhetoric? Isn't that what we've done...simply by ignoring, not thinking and being greedy?

Water= A basic human right?

Nope...like everything else in this world...ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

I'm one of those don't manipulate nature people lol. By thinking we could make the world better by adding things and being clever, ignoring nature as an extension of our selves, we've hurt our selves.

The key is not activism, but to do less. Despite everything the blade of grass still grows through concrete. In truth, nature will outlast human foolishness, after all like Lao Tzu says, that which goes against the Tao comes to an early end.

desalination on a small scale (backyard) is easy.

No one will ever be able sell the oceans.

There is no water shortage. It's fake.

Arizona is a very arid place who's officials

backed by utilities interest have always cried

"water shortage! 10 years ago the largest underground

water lakes anywhere were found in one of the

most arid areas in AZ.They are large enough to supply water

for the western states for many generations.

Our Gov. and Soviet Union have been mapping the planet

with grounding penetrating radar satellites. Like the

unending supply of oil beneath the BP off shore spill

they have mapped huge supply of base commodity like

gold and platinums. Norway does the right thing -distributes

their wealth for the common good.

The earth has a magic all its own with water.

She has been creating lakes rivers and oceans then drying them up forever.

Green areas the dry up do not lose their water. It goes down deep in the earth and moves to new locations.

Become informed on how to live outside the utilities control.

No one wants to live without their convenience, but the

multinationals need to know that we the people are

self sufficient and ready to live without them.

Clean, drinkable water is now a owned commodity.

Privatized and being squandered for profit!

The Hydrocycle has been interrupted in a way that is creating

a 15 to 1 (against) ratio of aquifer depletion. There is no foreseeable way

to replenish the aquifers when we are increasing our water usage beyond

the means to refill them, very simple hard facts.

There is a water shortage in many parts of the world, we just happen to

live in a place where this is not visible because of the wealth of where we live.

Anyone who thinks that there is no water shortage is misinformed.

As with oil, water will be the next thing to have wars over.

People, please pull your heads out of your asses and see the reality.

It is the attitude that nothing is wrong that will be the end of our species.

The ship is sinking and our ignorance is drowning us.

By contrast, the conterminous (48) United States receives enough precipitation during an average year to cover the States to a depth of about 30 inches. This is equivalent to about 1,430 cubic miles of water each year and would weigh about 6.6 billion tons. What happens to the water after it reaches the ground depends upon many factors such as the rate of rainfall, topography, soil condition, density of vegetation, temperature, and the extent of urbanization.

There is more than enough water forever. Collection activities and technological are rapidly changing

There never will be a shortage. People are learning on a big scale how to collect.

Total rain fall world wide is very great.

Even in very arid areas of africa with less than a total 6 inches per year water shortages have

been stopped by increasing collection. It's in the total rain fall per area and collection

to meet demand

the water shortage information scheme is not based on collectible water from precipitation.

They're saying there is not enough water stored in the ground, lakes, rivers etc to meet demand.

The total stored in an on the earth is minuscule compared with collectible rain fall.

Also there are many deep water reserves have been discovered with radar.

The lakes mention in AZ are two of them and it was discovered these lakes tributary to many others

around the world.

What will we achieve with her?

Tao is extremely subtle, potent, and 100% progressive.

there is always a solution

everything rising from Tao, including problems is supported to a progressive outcome by Tao.

You could replace the word "problem" with 'resistance' and see where polarity that sets potential

is always determined by Tao -a purely progressive power

The U.S. is about 3.79 million square miles of land.

With our population thats about 76 people per square mile spread out.

Go outside any populated areas all that can be see is endless

tracks of unused land.

The ideas of food and water shortages are fabrications intended to keep

the major populations dependent on a few simple things like water, electricity

and food.

Water collection and farming can be increased exponentially.

Thanks for the reminder...

You are correct in that the technology is there to collect the water.

You are I guess quoting actual numbers of rainfall for the U.S., so I

guess those numbers are accurate as well. No argument about rainfall

not being collected efficiently.

The problem is no one will implement the technology to eradicate the

clean water shortages unless there is a profit to be made in doing so.

In places like Africa... there is no imperative to do anything.

Without profit to be made, the water remains polluted and in short supply.

I agree that the world should implement technology to harvest the resource

of rainwater more efficiently, the hydrocycle still requires there to be much more

water going to the ground to help replenish the dwindling supply beneath our feet.

The groundwater is just as important as any other source.

peace

Ferro cement.

The older methods of damming lake and river only offered a solutions for limited sized population.

Were still using that system.

Communal work to create many smaller collection areas is the future for many areas.

Every one can build a ferro tank.

There are also very effective ways to clean water that do not used toxic chemicals.

Multinationals assumption of food and water shortages is based on the ideal that few individuals will find their own water make their own power or grow their own food.

This is incorrect assumption.

That article was written in a state with the two largest underground lakes ever found.

Those two lakes have not ever been used and tribute to many other bodies of water.

Please give the link to your sources of information about these lakes.

Seems very strange that you would know about something the scientists

working within the state you reference do not.

Please back up what you type as fact with references.

Here are more examples of deep water finds

Size of Belgium

Lake larger than Belgium

His team's discovery was reported last month in the International Journal of Remote Sensing and the Sudanese government has since launched its "1,000 Wells For Darfur" campaign in an effort to raise sufficient funds to tap the precious resource.

The lake was spotted by satellite and lies more than 550 m below sea level. With a surface area of some 30,750 km2 it is slightly larger than the country of Belgium.

It may have contained up to 2,530 km3 of water in the past and was discovered using images from three satellites, one belonging to NASA, another to Canada and a third from the Pentagon.

The geologists were spurred into looking for the lake after the discovery a decade earlier of an underground lake in Egypt north of Darfur that is now used to irrigate some 60,000 hectares of land

Each country has imaging technology and have been mapping the entire planet, even the poles.

Now each country with a satellite knows what they got and whats on the other side of the fence.

Ways of valuation are changing as result. Sudden devaluation of say oil because of hidden inexhaustible

supply made immediately public would wreck the current market system as it stands. This has nothing to do with the thread though. There is non water shortage with precipitation collection. In fact there is an unending supply

Call it good fortune my friend

There are no on line reference available.

States control resources that get distributed by utilities.

The actual size of supply is kept secret to maintain value.

a clarifying point is the water reserve system and specific value set in growing economy

was formed long before we were able to scan miles into the earth and see what we got.

Flooding the existing market and valuation system with an overabundance of oil, water, free power,

gold, platinum etc would cripple the economy as it currently exists. Not a good thing.

Overabundance will eventually reform the way we value life and our economy.

Again, there is more than enough water from precipitation and it is up to we the little people

to get informed and educate

Water and food

700 billion for stimulus. How many communal water collection site would that build?

How many ears of corn?

When false values become acceptable caps are placed on distribution of resources in order to

maintain the system as it exists for maximum profit.

Valuation of resources is changing, as fair distribution of resources.

Information is what makes it fair.

""Clean water is fast becoming a trade item which will only get more precious.

76 people per sq mile? People aren't going to go live in the desert or away from other population centers. They are bunched up like mice - too many people""

Tao love a lot of everything. There will never be enough people.

Hundreds of million live in desserts. I lived in a dessert. Actually there is a lot of water under and rain fall in a dessert.

All metropolis are surrounded by a lot of unused land

Beliefs enter tao causing stirring and formation.

Assumption is a facility of mind that sometimes runs

on subtle intent. Subtle intent comes from Tao and is

the deciding factor in manifestation outcome. In this we are

capable of producing many changes of destructive outcome

from polarity of the mind. The polarized mind is always

limiting to an either-or outcome and never seeing the middle.

There are endless option.

it begins with belief.
