I'm returning the favor since I learned about Zeitgeist thanks to a Taobums. I'd love to read what you have to say about this (Imo) profound work.

Enjoy :

Hi Yan,

Thanks for posting this!

Can't wait to watch it. The previous ones were really eye opening experiences.

The ideas being presented are like a breath of fresh air compared to the economy

and monetary system that we are now seeing the slow agonizing demise of right

before our eyes.

Thanks again!

Also there is the Venus project website!

Saw it 2 Days Ago, I had waited for it since the 10th. Then when it came out on the 25th I totally forgot about it haha.

But yeah I really liked it. The ending song was really out of place though lol.

the people behind these films are Fabian Socialists

I guess because you use a label to name something... that must make it true.... to you.

Fabian Socialist.... is a term for something this subject is not.

Is not because it is a new, untried, paradigm beyond your poorly used label.

Try doing some research on what is really being discussed.

Try listening with a mind that is open, rather then closed.

Or maybe I should just give you a label as well?

Hopefully the people behind this work do not belong to any "isms" or "ists".

The word is spreading this latest release has already over a million viewers in a week (it took a month for the first two chapters to reach the same amount).

I find their work to be great food for thoughts however the revolution they are advocating is way out

of touch with human nature.

I mean what they're saying is that we as a species are addicted to a destructive even parasitic way of life and that we are doomed if we don't change. So far they're not proposing any workable / gradual / reasonable roadmap toward a sustainable future development.

To me it's like telling a crack cocaine addict of many years that his lifestyle is destroying him and that he should quit the dope and eat a well balanced diet, exercise regularly and make new friends...he knows that already but where should he start...

I agree with the diagnosis now I want to see a sensible treatment leading to a cure.

I watched this movie lately after so many people mentioned it would be a good watch.

Some very interesting things explained and proposed. The solutions at the end i found it to be a little weak, but the general idea is commendable and the intention is for good.

I come from financial planning background in training, and I do keep my personal impression of the world economy very similar to what is described in this movie. It's radical, and not many people like to believe it so, but it is. It is true the debt security market is absolutely massive and is built to burst. We already have seen it begin to happen. It won't just be individuals but entire countries...

Some of the venus ideas are nice to watch. The only problem with the ideas is, it is itself, limited by mainstream knowledge of energy production, need for food and other things. I'm sure half of us are aware here of energy from vacuum, as 1 example as well as meditative practices which encourage the body to longer need much food at all.

There's a part in the movie also where it seems like to contradict itself slightly, in that part of the problem is not a tight mad leadership, but on the other hand admits and plays the drama of 1% pop controlling 40% of the economy.

It's a bloody complicated problem, and we need such movies to help wake people up. We can start with our own individual realities, the new values have to be built and will be built from ground up.

all the best

Watching it now. Very well done. I hope they are done with the 9/11 conspiracies and religion bashing? The movement will never take off if they keep doing that. They need to focus on economics, politics, psychology, and sociology and stay away from conspiracy theories and making people feel defensive about being religious like they did with the first movie.

I've seen all three movies but I think the third is the best. The more I've studied political and economic matters the more my views have come into alignment with those of Zeitgeist/Venus.

I've gone from working for the Nader Campaign, to supporting a guaranteed income, to becoming an anarchist, but I see now that the very existence of money almost guarantees many of the problems of society.

While I basically agree with the firsts films 'conspiracy theories' I don't know if it matters at this point. Whether 9/11 was an inside job or not, whether the Vietnam War was merely a way for the military industrial complex to make money or not, our monetary system and our outrageous waste, and poor distribution of resources is going to be our undoing.

I was going to say (seems like the only real way to move foward), how freaking corny.

LOL, cause the name is moving foward.

Anyway yeah seems like the ideal way to "progress".

Are we moving toward some incredible leap in a change

of the very consciousness of our planet?

With the advent of the internet, and the free access

of much more information then ever before possible

in the history of mankind by the average person who has

a computer or computer access, is there something

imminent in our short range future?

The present system of government and monetary systems,

will at some point reach a point beyond which any stabilizing

factor will be able to "correct" the inherent imbalances upon

which our present systems are based. Failure is just a matter of time.

There is no thing that can ever have infinite growth,

Including our economy and the plundering of resources

which are by their very nature limited.

Human behavior.... is it genetic? Or is it purely a product

of our influences and our surroundings?

If our very nature is to be influenced by our surroundings,

then by all means, lets change our surroundings and change

our behavior as well. As a people we have so much growing

to do for our civilization to be considered something

that is inclusive and accepting of all peoples as valuable

and meaningful.

The Zeitgeist film, Moving Forward, presents ideas that

help to illustrate the box we live in, and that there

is another way to see, live and participate within

society.

Peace!

Saw about one and a half, I found it very good. I knew almost everything that was said, no surprise there.

Of course a movie will only show the surface of the issues, but I think they picked out good stuff to focus on.

Only thing I didn't agree with was the physician who said "there is a tendency to not pick up babies when they cry" or similar. This is simply false, at least in Nothern Europe where I live.

Other than that I think it is great to wake people up. However I still think change comes from within and that focus on yourself is the way to go. Another societal paradigm will maybe change a little on the surface but real freedom comes from cultivation.

I'm so darn liberal on this, I'd like to see basic needs distributed to everyone on the planet.

Hi Manitou!

It's because it seems so damn obvious that I wonder why people are

so consumed with their own greed.

To value human life everywhere on this planet as equal would go a

long way to us seeing how selfish we are to want to keep in place a

status quo that is based on the very inequity that is many times the

root cause of world suffering.

When do we look at the wealth of our lives and truly realize we have

enough already?

The wealth we enjoy is based on the sufferance of others in poor countries

who slave to produce cheap goods for our unending

greed to consume ever more... s t u f f.

We as the consumers of these products, we as the ones demanding to

be satisfied with more "things" are complicit in this world injustice.

We need a good Hippie commune ideology! (seriously)

We need to share and live with compassion.

We need to grow and change.

Peace!

The underlying problem is fundamental ignorance.

Redistribution is not enough. I live in Denmark which is one the most equal countries in the world and people are still consuming a lot. Of course less than in other countries but still a lot.

The global meltdown of the economy could be the first step but until now the rich have been getting even richer and the debt cycle is continuing. Maybe China needs to fall which then will get US to fall which will change everything.

I don't hold much faith to the libertarian movement which to my experience seems to cultivate too much selfishness. The theory of free banking bla bla is just another economic driven society which will be even more unequal.

Economy needs a very low place in future society.

I finally watched this movie. Very well done! It's better than the previous 2! No religion bashing or conspiracy theories. It focuses on facts, and I love how there's interviews with experts who really know what they're talking about. It's very long though and could've been shortened, but there's a lot of content, so it's worthwhile. I hope this video gets spread around.. more people need to watch it!

I saw the first zeitgeist movie a couple of years ago. After seeing it i surfed the net a bit and found an essay about it by a religious historian that is also a hardcore atheist. He basicly slaughtered what it had to say about religion and backed it up with a ton of sources. One of the more interesting things in it was that he showed how some of the claims came from books that in turn had no other source than the claim having first apeared in fiction. I found that hilarious. Then I went searching for information on the claims about the federal exchange and found tons of stuff about most of the cliams being pure bullshit. Personally knowing people who deal with central banks at a very high level and people who do economic research at quality institutions . Does not exactly increase my faith in the claims. I can`t remeber much of what the details of the zeitgeist movie nor the critical information was so I am not looking to go into a debate but I just wanted to throw this out there to encourage people to do some proper research.

Look up the tapes that have been released of Kennedy, McNamara and Lyndon B. Johnsen, Nixon and others in the administration talking from the very first troops were sent to the withdrawel of american troops and you will know a lot about how at least THEY were thinking. You will discover stuff like Jhonsen pushing for war while McNamara actually was oposed to the war more or less the whole time and arguing that position but also planning and running the war as his belief was that as a government official his job was to implement plicies even when he oposed them. Very itneresting.

If you are referencing "Alex Jones" you are referencing someone who has proclaimed themselves to be

a believer in christianity. Mr. Jones has an obvious slant in his views concerning Zeitgeist.

If you are referencing an impartial person( this atheist person) please give more info.

The Zeitgeist movie#1 has plenty of references as well. Look it up.

There is no debunking what was actual in pre- recorded history.

Experts being on both sides, who is to say what is information and disinformation?
