Hello Everyone!

Out of curiosity... with many emotions running high,

I thought this poll would be interesting.

Please elaborate if you wish, especially if you feel

open to using this forum to your benefit.

Thank You!

Peace!

Love, specifically for the girl that is the yin to my yang, constantly sends me off balance. It leads to frustration when something I do upsets her, to loneliness when she is not around, to jealousy when others have her attention.

The most intense emotion I have ever felt, both positive and negative, is the one that challenges me the hardest.

I know what you mean. Although I recently made the decision that it's simply not worth it. Not good to compromise yourself like that.

...

I voted "disgust...you name it" because my emotion doesn't fit the other ones. I personally find anxiety the hardest to overcome.

You left out fear, guilt, anger at self, sadness and loneliness. These plus regular anger are probably the main internal stressors for most people. frustration and depression being dependent upon one or more of these. Hatred is really a cognition associated with anger and possibly fear rather than an emotion unto itself ... If love is a problem there is probably more about a fear attached.

SoT,

Thanks...I have added Fear and Guilt.

Anger is there in all aspects.

Very interesting so far!

Peace!

I had to select 'love' because it is the only positive emotion listed. I would have preferred something like 'wonder' or 'amazement'.

Yes, anger is a close second. But fortunately I don't allow myself to become angry very often so I don't need to deal with it very often.

At the suggestion of adding more emotions/feelings,

I have added them to the poll, please feel free to comment

or change your votes accordingly.

Voted "lust" because too easily confused with some of the other ones.

Anyway, are the emotions really that one-dimensional?

Hello Kate!

I would agree they are not.

What would you suggest to get the ball rolling in a way

that is more appealing or understanding?

My main purpose of placing the poll was to give us

all an outlet to look at ourselves from the outside in, and

have a chance to come to a better understanding of why we

get trapped into these "loops" of behavior, ruts, that we

just can't seem to escape.

Once we can figure out where we are wasting our energies...

We can then make changes to create a more Flowing existence.

Peace!

"What would you suggest to get the ball rolling in a way

Ball seems to be rolling as I write ;-)

"Appealing"? Not sure

"Understanding?" Not sure

But I know I hate it when I criticize something and the immediate response is "So, how would YOU make it better" ;-)

So corporate!

I would have to say sadness. The sadness, for instance, after a relationship that you committed too much passion to is destroyed by forces neither you nor your beloved were able to control. That feeling that you will never be able to see that person again..that person who acted as an extremely strong attractor field for your consciousness and energy.
