IT is said that advanced yogis can cremate themselves. I was wondering is this from doing exercises like tummo? or is there some other psychic heat thing involved?

 

Does anyone know how something like ascending to heaven alive would work like what practices/meditations would one have to do?

Has to do with how advanced they are, and choosing when they die. I've heard things like rainbows appearing right over there corpses.. ect.

 

I'd imagine if they wana go by flame let alone unknown causes they could.

I hadn't heard that (doesn't mean it doesn't exist), but a commonly heard stage is transforming the physical body into light... Perhaps that's being confused for the other?
