Got any recommendations for any outdoorsy vacations in your immense country? I recently read a supernatural thriller called _Monkey Beach_ set in the Kitamaat Pacific region--sounds amazing! Renewal Posted April 28, 2006 Thanks all. I'm living in Alberta now, which is mostly flat prairie until you get further west into the rocky mountains. If you're looking for some breathtaking and truly serene nature, I would suggest you start there. Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise are all great. The interior of British Columbia is fantastic for camping, and the rainforests (yes, rainforests) along the pacific coast are definintely worth seeing.
