The Yoga of Concentration and Meditation for Opening The 3rd Eye Chakra

 

This simple to do technique seems to be having very great possibilities for levels of development.

 

The technique of closing one nostril with your finger, and breathing rhythmically through the other nostril, in yoga, is named Shambhi Mudra AKA: shambhavi mudra

(it has various spellings - albeit with the same phonics) was originally designed to focus concentration for meditation with the original intent of awakening the 3rd eye of physic abilities.

 

Hypnosis is very akin to Meditation.

Hypnosis, is a beginning point that is later evolved into meditation to open the mental channels, often has more success than the drugs commonly used on a psychiatric patient, with none of the side effects.

 

The Shambhi Mudra technique, will give an edge in achieving the concentration level needed for both Hypnosis and Meditation.

Caution as 50% of it is designed to use the need of sex, as well as binural suggestions, as a key for opening the mind to sugestions.

I meditated -lightly- while keeping the right side of my nose stopped for about 35 minuites today.

It was like shuting off part of the air supply to 1/2 of my brain.

It was a little like oxygen starvation, but not a lot like O2 starvation, but rather more like super oxegenation for the open side.

I wasn't concentrating much as I was watching the news so as to time myself.

I used ear plugs to close off 1/2 of my nose - but I would think that a bit of tissue would work as well.

I plan to add it to my morning Kundalini meditation after I do the 5 Tibetans exercises as the 3rd eye is considered to be a Chakra...

Update:

 

It has been a few days since the original posting on this subject - whereas I have noticed that the Left side of my nostral has remained more clear than the Right... not only when meditating but for 24 hours a day.

It is very much like an open channel of air rushing across the 3rd eye area.

 

During this time, I have administered my Chelation therapy - which sounds complicated but only consists of eating 3 pickeled beets - I do it every New year.

Which -since it removes metalic salts (electrolytic compounds) - it makes me a little depressed AKA: unable to notice the positive results of an exercise... Today I began my multivitamin/mineral replacement which will make me more normal... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelation_therapy

Update:

I've noticed a few changes in my energy flow so decided to give it another try last night. At this point, 12 hours after the last experiment, I need to return to my traditional method of not influencing the results of those experimenting with this procedure and just say that I would definitely try this and that it is giving me new' risings' AKA: better energy flow - which is directed at the third eye chakra.

The risings are very simular to those I experienced when beginning the kundalini exercises some years ago... but they started at the throat chakra rather than the base of the spine.

What I am experiencing is a gradual change in perception during meditation and what is appearing to be an ability to mentaly contact with others. Example: a lady dropped an object out of her purse on the floor while riding on a train and sitting about 5 seets away from me. I thought to get her attention by trying to mentaly contact her - it worked as she changed her view from out the window to look directly into my eyes. I pointed to the object she had dropped, she picked it up and thanked me...

I tried it last night at 3 AM with one of my girl friends and she called in less than 30 seconds. Beforehand, we had never talked later than about 12M.
