Got any conscious New Year's plans?

Recommended Posts

I tried to resist but someone had to eventually start this thread, right?

The only one I've thought up so far is to rare back on reading so many books at the same time. Like only one or two books at once. I was up to trying to juggle I think 10 or 11 at one point earlier in the year and it just gets kind of ridiculous at some point.

Can we change this topic to "what is the power of winter solstice", and how does it feel?

..or..

Got any conscious New Year's plans?

..or..

"alternative rituals"

(sorry, i'm suffering from a case of western post-modern nausea)

Heh, you and Lozen and your aversion to resolutions. Alrighty, I changed it. :D

Oh, a resolution is like to stop smoking or something, right? My bad.

Nawww, it can be anything you want to accomplish, goals, things you want to give up or avoid, focus on ... whatever.

LOL! I don't hate resolutions, I just don't like the word. I prefer the word "goals." And I have a huge list of goals for '06, including an extensive reading list, lol!

I'm trying to think of all the things I accomplished this year, though, that's the fun part. Seeing where I was and where I am now. It's been a good year. A lot of hard work, but still good. I'm not gonna post my entire list, but maybe I'll try to synapsize it later...

Can you make 1 of your goals to put Ken's interview up?

See, now he didn't have an aversion to email it would have been done like 3 weeks ago :)

I mailed it to him and left him a phone message last week asking if everything was okay and haven't heard from him.

Mr. Ken never got my letter, I have to resend it. I know y'all are impatient, but I promise it'll be worth the wait. :)

2006 is the year that I won't be spending as much time writing bollocks on the internet ;)

do everything possible to win my ex-girlfriend back.....

so that is....

- be more joyful

- be more fun

- be more happy

- laugh more

- smile more

- be less obsessive

- be less controlling

- be less serious

- be less intense

- stop trying too hard with all this spiritual stuff (just let it happen)

- put on weight

- write more rap songs

- learn to breakdance

- learn thai

.... and most importantly.... make some $$ so i can get my ass back over to thailand to win her back!

edit.

forget about all of that, and just go with the flow.
