The Cool Picture Thread

Recommended Posts

I know this doesn't normally fall into cool pictures, but --

My only child just had her first child, a boy (William Kaine) Friday night, and now I'm a grandma.

So this is the cool picture I've been staring at lately. :-)

Here's one, not mine - found it just now on the web and thought, "where do I post to share?" - and here you are with this new thread! :D

I love this pic.

Years ago, I realized that consuming mass news was turning me into a news thing.

Regular Media Fasting for the win.

If what we eat is important to overall health... then what we consume with our mind, is utterly crucial.

Conume media with care.

One of the world's rarest turtle species , only found in the river that borders the north of our property .

In 2015 there was a virus outbreak amongst them , they numbered about four and a half thousand , in 3 months 90% of them where gone . I was finding dead or dying turtles along the river bank. A few years before, one could don some goggles and go for a dive and watch them underwater , or see them sunning themselves on rocks and logs .

They saved some and bred them at a zoo and released some into back into the river , but I doubt they will ever recover .
