  1. Hello all, I hope this is the right section for posting this Few weeks ago I attended a weekend workshop about how to have Out-Of-Body experiences as a way of self-realization, for spiritual growth. The teacher showed us some techniques for charging the Tan Tien centre. If we have this centre fully charged -he claims- it will be easier for us to have OBEs. He explained us some stuff about Qi Gong's and Carlos Castaneda's way of working with the energy within to get this goal. I got quite interested so, when I got home, I surfed the net to find out more about this soft qi gong practise and I've read different comments by people talking on how the practice of qigong has made them experience OBEs (regardless they wanted them to happen or not), spiritual experiences, etc, so I'd like to know more about this way of working with one's energy system in order to grow spiritually. Since it seems that there are hundreds of qigong styles out there, according to the experts and senior qigong practitioners from this forum, what's the best qi gong style for this? Newman.
  2. Hello dear ones, when we get more and more realized how vibrations work and how everyones energy affect us constantly... How do we learn to let those negative energies, that at a certain point can really be felt in your body (for me especially in my face, nerves and tissue), not affect us? How do we simply let them flow through us, as if we were not made out of dense matter? I understand the concept of water referred to the human system and how we can integrate that concept into our very being, so that we more and more behave like the element of water. That we become formless. We simply have to remove our resistance in our selves. No resistance and nothing sticks to us. But how can we still maintain acceptance and dont fall into ignorancy? And in those very difficult times when we are enganged in a heavy arguement keep our intention at that very essential humane levels? I am aware that we Have To understand our emotions and learn to watch them as an observer to not identify further with them. There is no way around it. But I am not fully realized on this topic yet. And my intention is not to ignore other beings, like I am told constantly by other people who see me in those situations. Because this is not my nature. Nothing in the universe ignores other beings except human beings tend at a certain point to develop ignorancy. Every sentient being will tell you that to ignore another being just because you want to conserve a good mood is nothing else than betrayal on the own sacred species. IT IS HARD to learn this RIGHT IN AN ARGUEMENT but to come out of an arguement and not have been involved therein feels SO fantastic! This is what I have lately discovered. Sure my emotions got knocked somewhere around the room while being yelled at... but coming out of it... it is like a tiny rebirth somehow. Like someone or something silently lets you know that it was a good thing to not get involved (but I am still somehow trying to figure out how to do this exactly, happens rather randomly) and still were there for the other person. I know many people will ask, how can you be there for someone who is aggressive towards you? Isn't that a paradox? THIS, is real learning. At the most fundamental level. No theory helps at that point, right at the mouth of the lion. So yeah, I am really curious how anyone of you more realized beings, deal with such situations? How to let negative energy flow through you and not be affected by it, while being enganged in a destructive family environment? Regardless all enlightened teachers, I stick to the to creed that you are only as enlightened as the most seemingly unenlightened being. We are here to help, not to raise defensive shields. My goal really is to keep my possitive aspects even in a fight and show compassion to other people and show that I understand them but at the same time I dont want to be dragged down emotionally and feel the negative impact of those energies. Is that conservative? I want to raise my frequencies, yes. Shall I play silent monk and run into the woods? These centuries are over. We are born in this day and age to learn spirituality in it's most difficult area - a society in which we feel separateness like nowhere else. I am aware of that. It's just not so easy at times, when you lack certain wisdom and insights. Thank you very much for your interest in reading and replying.
  3. Hey! I'm new

Hey, I have been interested in spiritual growth for a while but am just beginning to get serious. I have Franz Bardon and I think it is a good start but I am not sure how much I relate to the specifics of his dogma. So I have been going on my own with particular interest in spirit guides and such. I believe i contacted them (3 of them) once but it was breif and our communication was brief and uninformative. I am looking for guidance on meditation practise because I am severely undertaught on the subject. All in all i have been really impressed with what i have seen/experienced in my short personal attempts and want to dive deeper in. I need some guidance to point me in the right direction. My beliefs about spirits and God are not classified in any category that i know (and I'm in philosophy ) so it is my own belief and it is shaping well through my early attempts. Please message or reply if you can help me out! Thanks!
