  1. Does the forum currently have or will have an FTP site for a digital lending library? I personally have about 10GB worth of materials, books, DVDs, etc, on Bagua, Qigong, Tai Chi, Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

    Any thoughts on the subject?

  2. "The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into our awareness." - Lao Tzu

For those that would like to share their knowledge / input, I'm open for a discussion on this topic. Lao Tzu says that we should be open to / opened to higher dimensions of consciousness. What is he alluding to? What is the process(es) for gaining access to higher dimensions? How many dimensions are there, or is it more fractal in nature?

  3. From my reading thus far, please correct me if I'm wrong.

During normal abdominal breathing the abdominal region is contacted during exhale and expanded on inhale.

During reverse abdominal breathing the abdominal region is contracted during inhale and expanded on exhale.

If you do decide to practice this breathing technique, take it slow, do not strain. I would only start out with a few (3 or so) minutes practice and build up from there.

As with any physical exercise, please consult a physician if your are not sure.

  4. but what was the question? :D

My question has only been semi answered via search. I'm aware of / familiar with abdominal breathing, use it during meditation. I'm looking for the technique (steps) of reverse breathing, also know as Taoist breathing. Any help would be appreciated.

  5. Hello and good day to everyone.

My interest in Taoism is really on the philosophical side. I'm not much of a religious man personally. Aside from Taoist philosophy, I also enjoy meditation, and I'm currently learning Tai Chi and Baguazhang. My profile name is Zheng Tzu, I don't consider myself a master, the name more implies that I'm striving to become one. A master of my lower self, a ruler of my own condition.

Again, hello and have a great day.
