  1. Any bums workout?

    Lately I have been intrigued at the potential of the human body. I know through meditation and what not you can strengthen and train your mind/soul but to also be able to train the body is an incredible feat. I have been doing calisthenics(strictly body weight exercises) for the past month and boy am I loving it! Asides from spirituality it's the next greatest thing I am always thinking about it and AHHH I LOVE IT SO MUCH . Anyways enough about me, I was wondering if anyone of you bums workout? If so how have you included spirituality in your exercise? I'm guessing through some types of meditation, qigong, you can strengthen your body even more and also increase recovery time? If you know about this, please do inform me. I honestly have no set practice for meditation/spiritual practice like most of you bums do. It just happens whenever you know? It would be nice but I'm not there yet, ahh ANYWAYS!   2. Hello Everyone, I have read on this site that one of the first things you must do is find a teacher but I don't know how. I also want to learn some form of tai chi and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the "Taoist Tai Chi Society"?     I have a big KILLUMINATI (it basically means kill the illuminati, or F*CK them.) Sticker on the bumper of my car. So far I haven't gotten killed or my car hasn't been damaged. I'm a bad ass.
  4. I started smoking again and I've realized much of smoking is the way you breathe. Yes there is the nicotine, but there is just something blissful about it. It's a time to ponder things, and just let go. Do any bums here smoke and feel the same? Even during such an act as smoking, I believe you can realize the same things you would if you were meditating. It is all in the intent right, the body will wither away. My father says it is a type of yoga/meditation but not a good one.
  5. One of my dear friends which is really close to me opened up and said how she has been getting really bad migraines and is on anxiety medication. She really doesn't enjoy taking the meds and the headaches wont go away. I already introduced her to concious breathing which is a practice she has been doing. She says it's helped a bit and has made her more relaxed. She doesn't go to sleep early at all, she tries to but for some reason she can't. On top of the concious breathing I lent her my becalm balls(still point inducers), hopefully those will help with the headaches. I know you bums are very knowledgable and I would like to increase my knowledge to pass it down to her. I love this girl so much and I will do anything for her. I wanted to introduce her to small universe(MCO) but I'm not that knowledgable on it yet or with other forms of moving energy/healing.   6. Migraines, anxiety and insomnia

    Thanks everyone for posting and your suggestions. I looked up on the links you guys posted and I have to say, I don't really want to tell her to go listen to an 11 minute cd or something. I don't want to overwhelm her with a bunch of suggestions. I'm gonna keep scoping, gaining some more knowledge on all this before I say anything. Her diet is pretty good, and we workout all the time so I don't understand what clarity was saying. You're posts have always intrigued me, though I don't understand half of it XD.

  9. I've had this thought for a while and I wanted to just put it out there. Did Buddha, Lao Tzu, or many other masters/prophets really do such practices? It sort of brings you into a new world to worry about things you didn't even think of before, but is it really necesarry. I always thought that when you truly attain union with source/tao/universe/god (whatever you want to call it) wouldn't everything already be fulfilled? I highly doubt that prophets such as Buddha or Muhammad even did such practices. It feels like it goes against source to try to manipulate what is already there. I don't know maybe this is my lazy way of looking at this LOL. When I first joined this forum I was interested in learning about qi gong(tai chi, internal alchemy) thinking this is what I need. I have great respect for taoist path, it is what opened up my fears to explore the spiritual and mystical. Kudo's to everyone putting the time in to doing all these practices!!!!!!!
  10. What do you have for breakfast?

    I have found the newest most awesomest breakfast EVER! I've been having this for like 2 weeks everyday now and I still love it. Date and egg omlete or scrambled eggs with dates. So you take 3 dates(I use fresh plump ones from persian supermarkets, not the ones found at grocery store) take the pits out and chop them up. Put some butter or oil of choice in a pan and let it get hot. Add the dates in and let them sautee for a like 15 seconds than add 2 eggs. Depending on if I'm lazy or not I just scramble them up. I then eat that up with some whole grain pita bread. Maybe a banana or apple after if I'm still hungry. THAN A GLASS OF GREEN TEA . I still haven't had breakfast I'm gonna get on that now XD. Every bum should make this it tastes soooo awesome, it's a weird combination but once you have it you can't go back.

  14. Godbless you harmonious (: . I already made the decision to stop taking the pre-workout, I didn't feel good plus I see it as sort of cheating. All I take now is hemp protein after I workout and a liquid multi in the morning. About the retention thing, I have a shitload of testosterone flowing through me haha(I'm 18 which makes it worse haha). I'm currently on day 38 of retention. HOWEVER! I have a question. Could you expand what you were talking about from before, about the falling asleep during sex increasing testosterone XD. My ex-booty call has been talking to me a lot lately. It's as if she knows I'm doing retention haha. Last time we did the whole booty call, no attachments...she got attached so I broke it off. She wants to do it again and she says it will be with no strings attached, just getting it in. She even said this "I would feel bad because I would only be using you for sex" <---WOW WTF...I didn't know woman like this existed hahahaha . So I'm kind of in a pickle, it's sort of like mind or body? I want to but at the same time I don't want to do it with someone I don't have feelings for. The physical attraction is there but I dunno....

  16. I used to be real scared of certain types of music, especially mainstream. Hanging out with my friends it seems it's all they play, but I'm completly fine with that now. Every song no matter what it is, is an opportunity to connect with the artists and everyone else listening to it. I feel like I can somehow understand all these kids listening to these songs. DAMN IT FEELS GOOD TO BE OPEN It makes me feel connected rather than disconnected from others, thinking I am better somehow(silly me tsk tsk). I LOVE DIS SHIT Friends and music=best combination

  18. I don't know if you bums have heard of this new music craze called "dubstep" but I had my first experience of it today. I had heard about it, heard some snippets but was never really interested. Cool stuff but it is a very big distraction haha and knowing half the kids now listen to this shit that's pretty bad I'm in the car with my buddy and he decides to play some "dubstep". So he turns it up, full blast pretty much. It's all drum and bass but with crazy drops and what not. Anyways I notice he starts driving faster once it starts. When the drop kicked in it felt as if my brain was being held or someshit. Like I was having a braingasm haha I just felt all this crazy energy and I wanted to go wild. Before I never realized why people listen to it but after that I knew why. It's not something I would listen to but whoever creates that "music" is pretty smart because they have this way of putting you in a sort of trance. It sounds cool but I feel like listening to it in excess can somehow be bad for your brain, I dunno maybe I'm just being paranoid. I also have this weird theory that the music industry secretly puts binurals in there songs, also sublimnal messages of sexual orientation haha XD.     The time has come in my training where I feel I should incorporate supplements. I've been all natural and what not no supplements but I've decided it would be a good choice. I tend to stay away from all the whey protein crap because most of it is loaded with garbage. I wanted to know if any of you have a hookup or good knowledge of best supplements to take for training(calisthenics,gymnastics). I've never really been into multivitamins or any of that stuff, no pills come near my mouth XD but I feel it's time if I want to attain beastmode and keep it, it may even be good for my health. There's a link to a site below of this protein powder I got a while back, it seems pretty legit but I stopped using it because I wanted to be "all natural". If you have the time please also check out the link, if the protein is legit I will be more than happy to use it because for a vegan protein it has more protein than the whey, 25grams of protein for a 35gram scoop!   20. WOW...so some pretty gnarly stuff happened last night XD, it scared the shit out of me . I had gotten up to take a leak, went back to bed. I fell asleep and started dreaming, not a lot of the dream passed when suddenly my eyes were opened. It was weird cause I was sleeping and the transition went to some crazy shit that was going on in my room. It sounded like I was falling through the sky at like 2,000miles an hour XD crazy buzzing my whole body vibrating. I could see some pretty weird things in my room so I immediatly closed my eyes. So right now I'm scared for my life haha my body is like paralyzed can't move or even speak for that matter. I try to shout but it's impossible. I hear a lady saying something and it felt as if I was falling or moving upwards. There was also like a sinking sensation. My first reaction, without doing anything was to chant om mani padme hum. It happened naturally. As I just started the mantra I felt relief and ease and it was as if my body was lowered and "let go". I dunno if it was just good timing, like I was exiting whatever the heck was happening. My theory is that's usually what happens when we go asleep but I somehow didn't do the process fully, I awoke halfway through my journey to the astral or some crazy shit like that haha. There's also another theory I have about something taking me away but I hope it's not that LMFAO!

    Just got myself some iodine drops today. I took about 1mg(10 drops) I feel AWESOME! I got it to help remove fluoride from my system to some degree but this affect of feeling amazing is pretty cool haha. WOOT WOOT!
  22. Exotic musical instruments

    I have a santoor in my room! It's a very meditative instrument, if theres such a thing XD. I keep putting off practicing how to play it, I probably should make a commitment soon. Hang drums are pretty gnarly though!

    Harmonious: thanks for the tips. I went out today and bought myself a bunch of pumpkin seeds they taste delicious too. The iodine I have is derived from kelp and seaweed. Spirit of the tiger: Yeah I tend to stay away from soy XD my dad says it's not for men haha. I've heard great things about sunwarrior products but I don't have the kind of money for that, hemp protein is something I'm looking into it just costs a little too much. Also about the spiritual nutrition book, I've seen it before on Gab's site didn't think much of it though. I might check it out thanks for that. I've been eating lot's of raisins lately, before workout's and after. Is this a bad thing? The only sugars I really consume are from fruits, raisins, and honey. The only caffeinated beverages I drink is tea, mostly green sometimes white. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE I ended up taking the vegan protein today(it's gag worthy haha) but I will just go back to my regular au natural with foods with the new knowledge I've gained, thank you all for that

    thanks for the replies. Yeah I downed the dosage(1-5drops) and I wont be taking it everyday thanks for that. The label says "Vegetable Iodine Drops" , ingredients are: iodine(potassium iodide) colloidal, derived from Kelp and Seaweed. I went to check out some chrolella today, man that shit is expensive XD. Oh yeah I also found out the hard way that too much goji berries gives you diarrhea hahaha
