Assumptions, assumptions, judgments and more assumptions.. Don't you forget that Max and gang set up their shop on the basis of this - Drama. And while you speak of dissing drama, have contributed more than anyone to it assumption from St. Cameron who knows it all - Kunlun leads one to enlightenment. And that pretty much is the basis for the sermon that follows. It has been proved time n again how good you're at sticking to your words. So, I will let the choose not to talk statement pass. They are out there to make bucks. What's this nonsense about their concern for the enlightenment of people and shit? They will refuse no one, except when it affects their business. Like Jenny said, Max knows to make buck out of every tai chi move. So? The others, who you dismiss as minority, should stop talking and take your bashing? But you still had to run to Jenny! Rest your bum, Mr. old Tao Bum. I wonder if they stopped teaching how to talk to a lady in school, assuming you went to one ... You don't seem to be much enlightened? Another assumption: kunlun=direct path to enlightenment. Nope, does not suit his business model.

Lose weight... who should? Not kidding Talk talk talk ... watch out ... your tongue (fingers?) may fall off ... Or, on second thoughts, all that is probably a part of cleansing... inner demons flowing out in the form of gibberish
  5. Lama Dorje

Does anyone believe that any more? Like Count Cameron said another place, he say can say whatever he wants and no one can stop him... he's the kunlun-man.. unstoppable

Is this insight arising out of your kunlun practice? Its funny how a few energetic experiences make some believe they have experienced IT and lo! they have to poke into everything that is being said! irrespective of how thoughtless they may sound. And they start to bash those who they think are bashing kunlun. Seriously, sometimes you folks come across like teenage girls who have a crush on a star aka max.

Okay dodo, I appreciate your analysis I was talking about a second seminar to find some answers which they didn't want asked in a public forum. They probably thought that would let the cats out of the bag. By the way, are you the new kunlun spokesperson? Yes, you've a problem with that?
  8. Advaita Vedanta vs Buddhism

tomato ... tomato.. compare - discernment... okay, if you say so!
  9. Neo-Advaita

You may want to read Dennis Waite's 5000 years of Advaita. He discusses the various schools of neo-advaita like those of Nisargadutta Maharaj, Adyashanti, Poonaji etc., their approach, shortcomings and advantages. Nothing really can replace studying an original classic like Advaita Siddhi or Brahmasutra bhashya of acharya shankara.
  10. Advaita Vedanta vs Buddhism

Please re-read what you've been writing. What you claim is pointless is exactly what you're trying to imply. And using one-sided terminology or logic.
  11. Lama Dorje

Can you please keep your crap and frustration to yourself and not send me abusive pms? You claim you're an alchemist of a high order and blow your own trumpet, so be it. You flaunt your 30 years of practice, so be it, though I don't see much out of it - not even the confidence to stick to your words and not erase your posts! I don't care and want no pms from you. You need help man! And I doubt you're going to get it from Maxie cab. If you are the model kunlun success story, all I can say is eeeeeeeks.

I was ready to take another seminar but Chris hated that I will share my "hostility" with others and refused to enroll. Max was right there when this conversation was on and no Bodhisatva compassion materialized. Bodhisatva! how loosely people use lofty terms. Lord tathagata must be twisting somewhere with discomfort.
  13. Advaita Vedanta vs Buddhism

This is exactly the problem with those Buddhists who want to keep claiming they are "different" and "better" than others, though they start with the disclaimer, "I don't claim this or that is better" or "I don't like to comment on others". The other issue is trying to explain everything using a Buddhist paradigm or terminology and arrive at conclusions, such as the ones here. And then there is a model of "levels" of realization which does not find a common base within Buddhists themselves. Really, it is easy to do that but hundreds of Advaitins have refuted nagarjuna, vasubandhu, dharmakirti and others. So there is nothing new to do there and waste time again. At the end of the day, most of those lost in terminologies and essays remain so and there is little actual realization. But conclusions such as these especially on masters like Sri Ramana is at most laughable. And please save yourself the trouble of typing a lengthy reply. Not much time to read that Rick

And what really is the long term use of this for the student? I see how this can help the teacher though .. Nan Huai-chin talks about this at length from the perspective of enlightenment. These are, mostly, physical or sensory orchestrations and really seem to serve no purpose other than probably "feel good"?

You don't read the posts completely or decipher the relevant info therein...do you? Brother, for once please stop sounding like Chris's pimp and understand some of us do not have any "agenda" and are genuinely concerned, of ourselves, if not of others. Five months of practice twice a day that I did was not to serve the purpose of some hidden "agenda" against Max and his entourage - an extended part of which you seem to unconsciously represent. I am really disappointed how some folks here want to be protective about Kunlun and its teachers rather than of some of the Bums here who have shared some genuine problems and issues. And most folks who seem to do that are the ones who have taken umpteen seminars. The reason could be anything from a simple feeling of fraternity to a case for X-files Agreed you guys have had a blast with Kunlun and Max's zapping. But why get so annoyed if others are not and have different views? Why do you feel the compulsive need to defend Max and Kunlun - especially when not one can conclusively say what is going on? Can we have more Yodas and Scottys here please?

Well the man himself said it... moreover, I would not reference him in my last post if I were him pretending to be someone else ... not that I care if someone thinks I am him!

Duh You always butt in don't you? Of all the people, you seeking verifiable data or facts is hilarious! Remember our Hitler conversation? I ain't got no milk for you... Cat, I understand your interest to know is genuine. I just don't wanna sound like taomeow's ex friend and create another scene. Let me think a bit on how best to present this stuff and get back.

Both the folks I sought help from tried to tap into the presence that was felt during kunlun and found some interesting stuff about the origins of the practice. I tried to do the same thrice and was quite astounded. I do not think it is right to get into all that creepy stuff here but if you want a safe, tested practice with some level of honesty on the part of the teacher, Kunlun may not be the right thing, especially the transmission. I am sure people will disagree but I would rather stick to the advice of two renowed masters of alchemy than amateurish advice. Don't listen to me but please do listen to yourself. Bliss may not be what you really think it is. If someone really needs help in this regard, I am open to guiding them to my Sifu, about who I have spoken before.

Yoda, It may be totally ok what your daughter is going through and I hope and pray it is. With four decades of dabbling with Taoism, entities, yoga and stuff, I was surprised to find myself unable to find a stop button for the k-thing. Initially I ignored the resistance from within and decided to go along with what I then thought was a cleansing phase. But after about five months of practice, I could clearly see the presence of certain beings when in the kunlun state and their company was far from being beneficial. That is when I unsuccessfully tried to get help from Chris/Max who clearly expressed their disinterest in even talking to those who had not attended a dozen kunlun seminars. I spoke to Jenny Lamb for help but she was more interested in proving her point of what a monster Max is. It didn't feel right to accept this state of nightmare as a passing phase or a cleansing reaction. I had stopped holding the ball position but the thing would kick in involuntarily as well. I am trained in marma diagnosis and that showed a severe deterioration in my energetic health like never before. I found myself totally out of control and helpless especially since Sifu was out of UK and in China. That is when Master Chunyi Lin turned out to be a great help. Sessions with him restored balance to a great extent. Then I got guidance from my Indian Master to modify a certain kriya and practice. He gave me a mantra for the Hindu goddess Blue Tara and suggested praying as frequently as possible. After about 8 days of reciting mantra, there was a vision where mother removed a pair of eyes from the tan tien blocking the way of a fiery serpent and pulled the serpent up holding it's tail. There have been no issues thereafter. After my Sifu was back from China, both he and his wife objected strongly to me practicing Kunlun and suggested doing away with the book. Well, not sure how this account is of help to anyone but here it is.i

Yoda, thanks for sharing brother. Drama Queen - naaw, you rock.

Winpro, I was not intentionally trying to offend you but the k bug sometimes leaves no option. I won't spend time replying to your PM. On a more serious note, I would like to know your opinion on the technique minus Max. Do you believe that without seeing Max, one can derive all the benefits you associate with Kunlun? If not, then it's probably the transmission that does more. Can any of the Kunlun folks comment? The alien, entity, implantation, ascended masters, demons, angels angle probably is associated with this aspect.
  22. Kunlun follow up poll

Ok! If you say so... moreover this seems far more rational than some of Max's stories ... (or of Chris?) Don't we all need something till the next Harry Potter movie is out? have fun

Yeah, waste of time reading this one

ha ha ha! Well! People believe what they like to, don't they? So is Hitler's regime responsible for a relatively peaceful later time? Or a bad doctor messing up with the system and this leading to another doctor is indicative of the former's central character in a divine game plan? Is it useful to be a bit more rational at times? not sure, just thinking out loud! Just don't wanna end up like our dear friend winpro whose posts seem to space out every now and then! Grounding issues? Or spontaenous energy adjustments? And cat brought up a good point ... that an impartial discussion on Kunlun has not happened. Some have stated repeatedly that there aren't many who understand alchemy well here and hence unqualified to decisively talk about Kunlun. Most here seem to value Sifu Chunyi Lin and recognize his cultivation skills and understanding of taoist alchemy. That apart, he is also well-versed in entity treatments. Further, there are also folks here who know Sifu personally. It would be great if someone can talk to him about Kunlun and post here his opinion. Just a suggestion... True! I wish Siliconvalley would now speak up and narrate here his experience. Are you listening brother? Yoda has already used the "C"(reepy) word peace and blessings namo arihantanam
