I was doing really well until my curiosity got the better of me. I tried to do the the small circle meditation (micro cosmic orbit) unsupervised I found on a online page and suddely felt four shot of cold going up my back. later that night I had incredible pain in my head and neck and could not sleep. I told my sifu and he immediately started qi gong therapy. for the next few days I could not sleep and felt incredible pain in my neck. My sifu did not allow me to continue doing qi gong and after a few weeks he allowed me to begin doing tai chi again. Know I feel better and he told me I could do qi gong again. but know my neck still feels strange and stiff with the occasional sharp or dull pain. Any suggestions or advice, I don't want to stop practicing. and if I were to stop for how long.
