  1. Do you make your bed?

I always make the bed. Every morning after I get out of it. The reason why? I want to make the world a better place but I can't do it if my personal life is in shambles. Making the bed and taking care of the everyday things I have to do are the first steps in improving the world we live in.
  2. Does god exist?

Agreed. God comes from within us, I think. The notion God is irrelevant to realizing the highest potential of humans, and no one can say that any "Supreme Being" exists or not. If we realize our Highest/True Self, we become God.
  3. Rotator Cuff Inflamation

I'm just saying that doctors and medical professionals go to medical school for a reason. It's so they know what they're doing when a patient comes in with a problem. Asking for medical advice on the internet, and being referred to non-proven herbal remedies and alternative therapies is probably not as reasonable as being referred to a specialist or physical therapist. Really, I feel that no one on this board is qualified to give practical medical advice.
  4. Rotator Cuff Inflamation

Have you maybe seen a medical professional? I know a lot of people put a lot of stock in herbs, tinctures, oils, and who knows what, but your local family physician and a physical therapist could probably fix things up pretty quickly.
  5. Hey everyone

Hey there! So I linked to this site from a brainsturbator.com forum post a buddy of mine sent me. I'm pretty excited to meet some new and interesting people with a sort of common interest. Anyway, a little about me. I'm nestled up in the North Coast of California where the trees are big and the oceans wild. For a long time I denied myself spirituality and told myself that if I got a job and house and a car and all the other things of the American Dream I'd be okay. I find myself disagreeing now and realize I have some urge to see the truth of the world and myself. I've tried a lot of approaches to the world, including Zen meditation and Buddhist philosophy, Hindu philosophies, the psychedelic approach, thelemick and chaos magick, and lately have been reading the writings of Krishnamurti. Basically, I've found a lot of interesting things in every approach and have been trying to reconcile the differences of each into a foundational whole. Well, that's a bit about me. Peace everyone
