Do we lose more energy than we gain during sex? I was told that sexual activity always results in a loss of energy moreso rather than gain. Is this true?

Hello daobum people. I am here because I have questions as far as the times we live in, and the current events rolling out before our very eyes and how this relates to the overall Spiritual path of a higher conscious. Im hoping to receive answers, hopefully answers that give hope, to a scenario that seems pretty hopeless from a wide angle.
