  1. How to Kill Candida in Prostate?!?!

    Caprylic acid. ☮
  2. Haiku Chain

And watched where I step. Reflection is needed to enlighten the dark. ☮
  3. A Path of the Light (Practices)

Another Path of the Light. ☮
  4. Please note that as I said in my "Welcome" thread, this Path could also be labelled as A Path of the Heart or A Path of Peace While there is no substitute for our group practice (as far as I'm aware), there are many other practices that may lead to our doors, which are freely available in various writings, so I feel it's best to discuss and to illustrate our Way in Group Studies unless there are any objections? ☮️
  5. The core of Quaker "meditation" was to sit and listen in Silence and to speak only if led by the Light. So, if I attend a Quaker Meeting, I follow their rules, which have also stood the test of time, and in so doing I usually learn something valuble and meet someone who is really interesting. ☮️
  6. Can't get you out of my head

Here's an index and description I found after locating the complete (and entirely uncensored) 6-part series. ☮
  7. Quaker Meditation

There's nothing to stop you from gathering a few of your like-minded friends together and setting up your own meetings, especially because you might stuggle to find one that works as originally intended, as @Awen has illustrated above. Happy to discuss the pactical details here if you're interested (and I feel led to do that later anyway 😊). ☮
  8. Can't get you out of my head

Really interesting. Thanks! Deserves at least one bump. ☮
  9. Quaker Meditation

Wise and useful words. 🙏 Good to meet another Friend. 🤝🏻 ☮
  10. Reading/Study as a practice

Sometimes attendees at Quaker Meetings will read aloud passages of text from various sources. The effect of the Silence of the meeting being filled with such sharing can be profound. ☮
  11. Quaker Meditation

If you attend a Quaker Meeting in the UK, you will often find people reading during the meeting and in every meeting room you will find copies of a small (6" x 4") red 24-page booklet, Advices & Queries that is made freely available to attendees (in case they've forgotten to bring their own reading material 😊). Sometimes, during a meeting, attendees will feel called to stand and read aloud a part of it or other prose or poetry that they feel called to share. For example. ☮
  12. How to Have Better Arguments

Pertinent article by Teresa Bejan, the Associate Professor of Political Theory at Oxford. Author of Mere Civility: Disagreement and the Limits of Toleration. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/12/two-concepts-of-freedom-of-speech/546791/ TLDR ☮

  19. What made YOU laugh today/tonight ?

Most people don't need foot support unless they're carrying significant loads. ☮
  20. What made YOU laugh today/tonight ?

That's wise. https://www.active.com/health/articles/why-too-much-running-is-bad-for-your-health It's generally really bad for the joints too, even if you use something similar to a wolf's method and professionally-fitted top of the range trainers (e.g. New Balance). http://www.jeffgalloway.com/training/run-walk/ Long walks over hilly terain and swimming in unheated, unchlorinated water generally achieves better overall health and fitness and you can also get substantial endorphin hits, if you're that way inclined. ☮
  21. Sam Harris and Rupert Spira

Almost certainly Ursus, but only if the bear is sentient. ☮
  22. Sam Harris and Rupert Spira

Well, I’m glad that you and I seem to have established that there’s no intrinsic problem with anyone owning security blankets Luke. Perhaps the only question that might be worth exploring further about teddy bears, etc. is, “Do you own them or do they own you?” In any case, Creation is perfect as it is, including both attachment and aversion (unless, of course, it isn’t). ☮
  23. Sam Harris and Rupert Spira

I've been on several of Rupert's retreats and enjoyed them immensely, mainly because I met some really unusual and interesting people, including Chris Hebbard. I don't share your enthusiasm for trad. AV myself (despite - or perhaps because of - studying it under the supervision of Dayananda Saraswati). ☮
