  1. hello :)

hello I've been interested in daoism for about two years, during which I've read a couple of books as a sort of vague beginner's flirtation with daoism (The Tao of Pooh, and The Left Hand of Darkness), and I've been exploring a translation of the Tao Te Ching by Ursula Le Guin. I've also listened to a few Alan Watts monologues on youtube! From the little that I've experienced, I've found the general philosophy behind daosim to really resonate with me, and find that the underlying principles of dao, yin and yang, and wuwei really encapsulate a lot of truth. I just stumbled across this site and it seemed like an appropriate place to raise queries on the matter, and interact with other daoists discussing their beliefs. I'm intending to get my hands on a copy of the Zhuangzi - if anyone has a particular translation they would recommend, I'm all ears! Additionally, if anybody could recommend other helpful materials for an enthusiastic novice then I would be very interested to hear them Thanks
