What do you mean by "simple basic practice"? Let's say I wanted to start right now.. I would sit in my asana and then what? Thanks.

Hello guys! I've been reading some of the posts on this community for a while now, but I finally decided to join myself and to actually participate in those discussions if given the opportunity. Over the years I've been looking at various schools of thought and spiritual paths, but I found that no matter which one you choose, the best option seems to be a combination of multiple teachings which best suit your personality. I hope to learn a great deal from you guys.
