  1. No more right-wing bullshit.

You called me and the system I teach out in a right wing thread. In your first message here you accused me of piracy, in my books that means I’m being accused of stealing/thief. Then you don’t like it when I show how can one master copyright an art when another published it half a century earlier? Even though I’m in the lineage of both. Don’t drop accusations especially trying to lump me and the system in a right wing thread (dirty tactics to tarnish someone’s reputation and the lineage masters) and then use the “last message and I’m out tactic”. Be responsible for what you say if you’re calling someone out. If you don’t want a simple one message response then simply don’t call someone out as a thief. Maybe we can agree to disagree and shake on it. Unless you decide to publicly call me out as a thief again. Wishing you the best on your path 🙏
  2. No more right-wing bullshit.

Your over a dozen interactions start with an insult and then you end with “this is a one off thing, I’m out”. Then I politely reply and you follow up with an insult and claim I’m the one dragging the conversation. And if I’m lucky you won’t end your message with a following insult. Same cycle over and over. Mods step in to stop the attacks, as I won’t steep to that level. This time I found myself being called a thief and irresponsible in a huge random post (Right Wing post?). Back to the topic. Maybe if @Sean vetted people (as suggested by past teachers who have left) then maybe we wouldn’t have this “bullshit”. For example, my full identity as well as address of home/clinical qigong clinic is on this forum. The only thing missing is a phone number. I would present myself exactly how I would in my clinic. Anonymous accounts allow people to do things they wouldn’t do when their identity is visible and credibility on stake. Hopefully something like that would wean out most of the problems.
  3. To Admins/Mods, Some users may attempt to contact you to delete this thread under piracy. Master Liang Shifeng taught Spontaneous Five Animal Play Qigong in the early 1980’s. Some have the misconception that this style “belongs” to Master Liang Shifeng and that automatically means it’s copyrighted. Meanwhile Master Hu Yao-zhen (1879-1973), wrote a book titled "Wu Qin Xi" (Five Animal Frolics) in the 1940's with the specific spontaneous five animal method that I posted detailed. And taught it for a long time before the 1940s. I trained in both lineages, second generation of Master Liang and a third generation of Master Hu. How could someone claim Master Liang Shifeng (started to teach it in the early 1980’s) owns this practice when Master Hu wrote the book with the method in question in the 1940’s (and taught it many years prior to the publishing of that book)? Please carry out independent research before taking action based on the opinion of one person’s claim (including mine). Please PM me if you require further information. Thank you 🙏
  4. Edit: Disclaimer added here just incase people don’t follow the website link. Disclaimer: The Hu Yaozhen Qi Clinic offers services (live & online) that belong in the complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) sector. They do not serve as a substitute for a doctor’s medical advice, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Hello everyone, As this forum helped me meet different teachers over the years, I'm posting my lineages complete theory and practice of Hua Tuo’s Spontaneous Five Animals Play Qigong (Zi Fa WuQinXi Dong Gong) to contribute back to the dao bums community. You can access and print friendly version here: https://www.qigonguk.com/hua-tuo-spontaneous-five-animals Hua Tuo’s Spontaneous Five Animals Play Qigong (Zi Fa WuQinXi Dong Gong) Hua Tuo was a renowned second century Chinese physician and is famous for successfully performing surgical operations on the brain, when bloodletting was the main and often only medical treatment in Europe. Hua Tuo made the breakthrough in discovering how to awaken the body’s natural self-healing intelligence through the practice of Spontaneous Five Animals Play Qigong. For the last 1800 years it has been one of the best kept secrets of the ancient world, until now. For the first time in history this priceless gift from Hua Tuo will now be shared openly. There are two schools of thought regarding Five Animals Play Qigong The first being the mainstream "doing forms" methodology where practitioners attempt to imitate certain animals in a group practice and the second being the closely guarded secret of “follow the Qi”. This is where the Qi moves the practitioner spontaneously and awakens the authentic Spontaneous Five Animal Play. This art was so secret that many claimed it was a myth until recent archaeological finds in the 20th century suggest that Hua Tuo did not imitate the movements of the five animals, but the spontaneous energy flow triggered the five animal movements without the involvement of the conscious mind and the practitioners had no knowledge of the five animals. “First fix the Heart-Mind. When the Heart-Mind is fixed, the Spirit (Shen) condenses. When the Shen condenses, the Heart-Mind becomes still. When the Heart-Mind is still, you are calm. When you are calm, you do not intervene (Wu Wei). When you don’t intervene, the Qi circulates. When the Qi circulates, you move.” - Master Hu YaoZhen explaining the essence of Five Animal Play and Nei Gong There are 3 stages of progression in the Spontaneous Five Animal Play Qigong In the first stage when the practitioner begins to practice Spontaneous Five Animal Play Qigong, they learn the skill to tap into, surrender and become a vessel for the sea of energy emanating in the universe. The Teacher will transmit the awakening (觉醒) by opening the energy gates of the body and connect and align them to the five element frequency. It is like a flame being passed down that has been nurtured for generations, this will trigger the precious art. The practitioner will find that the energy starts to move their body, swaying gently at first, then leading to more vigorous flowing movements as the body’s natural self-healing intelligence awakens and the energetic pathways are cleared and upgraded. Once the energy has corrected certain imbalances it will start to flow to the lungs, kidneys, liver, heart and spleen. As the energy flows to the lungs the movements manifest as the tiger, as the energy flows to the kidneys the movements manifest as the bear, as the energy flows to the liver the movements manifest as the deer, as the energy flows to the heart the movements manifest as the bird, as the energy flows to the spleen the movements manifest as the monkey. Which animal manifests first depends on which of the five organs receives the energy first. Eventually they will appear in order and cycles many times throughout the duration of the session. Once the energy has worked on the five organs, the second stage follows with the complete opening of the microcosmic and macrocosmic circle of the Chinese energetic anatomy. First the eight extraordinary meridians fully open, the Ren Mai and Du Mai open first followed by the opening of the rest of the six extraordinary meridians allowing the practitioner to attain the true microcosmic orbit. The secret is that all eight extraordinary meridians fully open, not just the common practice of opening just two of the extraordinary meridians, those being Du Mai and Ren Mai. Then the energy will open all twelve primary meridians, the macrocosmic circle. Once all 20 meridians of the body are open, the energy will lead the practitioner to the final stage, Taoist Golden pill or Neidan 慧äžčæœŻ. At this stage the practitioners natural gifts will awaken such as being able to heal others with their own Qi, seeing Qi in others, the skill of distance healing and to be able to transmit the art to other seekers and fulfil Hua Tuo’s legacy. A short documentary on Spontaneous Five Animal Play Qigong done by Dr Leung who also studied under the same Master as me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GJAX5mLk9k Have the art Energetically Transmitted vs Modern Self-Taught approach Some people for one reason or another are not in the position to have this precious gift transmitted. To keep Hua Tuo’s legacy alive, that it is every person’s birth right to be healthy and happy, the complete practice of the first stage will be revealed. If the practitioner is self-taught by the instructions below then they must practice the art exactly to the best of their ability and conscientiously once or twice a day for at least 3 months to reap the benefits. For a self-taught beginner it can take up to five years of daily practice for the Spontaneous Five Animal Play cycle to occur. When a practitioner has the art transmitted, progress is much faster. The Spontaneous Five Animal Play cycle begins almost immediately and usually occurs fully by six months of daily practice. Sessions begins with the client being seated with eyes closed for the first 5 to 15 minutes as the Teacher prepares the clients energetic body to smoothly handle the new energetic charge. This is followed by 45 minutes of Spontaneous Five Animal Play practice whilst the Teacher carries on the Qi projection throughout the practice. Tips for practice: Follow the instruction exactly as taught, don’t try to be cleverer than the Teacher by making changes, that is how these ancient arts are watered down. Allow the energy to move you, let go of any feelings of embarrassment. The energy will flow to the problem areas first. For example, if the practitioner is suffering from back pain, they will move spontaneously in a certain way to manipulate the energetic points even though they have no knowledge of the Chinese energetic anatomy. If the movements are too vigorous to the point of discomfort tell yourself to gently slow down and the energy will follow the command. If you’re on the floor too long whilst the body is earthing (releasing deep trauma) then gently tell yourself to stand and the energy will lift you back up. Do not chase certain movements or what you have seen others do, go with the flow and you will receive your tailor made movements. Don’t stop the practice suddenly and never miss the closing sequence. Practice in comfortable clothing and space, where you will not be disturbed. If anyone asks what you’re doing, tell them you’re doing “stress reduction therapy”. Breathing is natural except when instructions give specific methods at the start. Relax through the cleansing phase, you may experience old emotions surface up to be cleared or symptoms of detoxing. Traditionally the practice sessions were 45 minutes long, done 3 times a day daily. However I teach the practice in 15, 30 or 45 minutes long allowing more flexibility for the practice to be part of your daily life. If you practice daily eventually the energy will stop the practice at the right time. For steady progress have a check-up with your Teacher once a week during the first 6 to 12 months or as often as you prefer. Don’t worry if that’s not possible, you will progress through the stages, it’s only a matter of time. Qigong UK's Hua Tuo’s Spontaneous Five Animals Play Qigong: Female Version Stand relaxed with your feet shoulder width apart. Breathe in fresh air through the nose and breathe out dirty air out of your mouth 3 times. Now look ahead as though you’re looking at a beautiful view in the distance, then bring your awareness to the inside of your forehead as you close your eyes. Imagine your body is hollow like bamboo and carry this awareness through your forehead, down thorough your torso all the way to your bellybutton. Open your eyes slowly and look into the horizon and repeat this shifting of outer to inner awareness 2 more times. On the final round, with your eyes closed keep your awareness on your bellybutton. Now take your middle finger of your right hand and gently press your bellybutton 49 times. Now tell yourself "I'm very relaxed, very comfortable, very calm and happy" Imagine whole body floating in the clouds. Imagine energy (bright light) running up your back, over your head and down the front of your body. Repeat 3 times and on the third time bring your awareness to your bellybutton. Tell yourself "when I meditate for a certain time my body may want to move, I will let myself go". Now imagine the energy (bright light) travel down from the sky like a cascading waterfall and entering your head, neck, shoulder, arms, all the way down to your fingertips, down your chest, your back, your belly, your hips, your thighs, your legs and all the way to the ball of your foot. Repeat this 2 more times. Now count the middle point on the ball of your feet with your breathing 6 times (one round is one inhale and exhale). Now bring your awareness to between your eyes and count with your breathing 2 times. Now bring your awareness down to your bellybutton. Now imagine your bellybutton moving inwards to your Ming Men (rear of the spine at the same height of the belly button) with your breathing in 6 steps. Now imagine your bellybutton has merged with your Ming Men spot. Now count the Ming Men spot with your breathing 6 times. Now imagine your bellybutton moving back to its natural place in 6 steps with 6 breaths. Now your belly button is back to normal. Tell yourself “I can see my bellybutton from inside, I can hear my bellybutton from inside, my whole mind concentrates on my belly button”. Now just relax and let yourself go and let your body move spontaneously with the chi for the next 15, 30 or 45 minutes. Closing sequence After around 15 to 45 minutes of practice, tell yourself “I’m going to end the exercise”. Allow you movements to come to a graceful stop. Take your hands from the side, palms facing up and bring them over your head and pass them down the front of your body as you imagine bringing the energy down from your head, torso, legs to the ball of your feet. Do this 3 times. Now place your right hand on your belly button and start making clockwise circles, small at first and getting larger until you are massaging your entire tummy region 36 times. Now make large to small counter clockwise circles 36 times, until your hand is back on the bellybutton. Now place your other hand on top of the hand on the bellybutton and imagine your bellybutton is full of energy (light), then imagine your entire body is full of energy, every pore of your body is full of Qi. Now rub your hands like your warming them up and massage your face, over your head and neck in a flowing movement 36 times. Open your eyes and enjoy your new found vitality and joy. 5. No more right-wing bullshit.

To Admins/Mods, Master Liang Shifeng taught Spontaneous Five Animal Play Qigong in the early 1980’s. Master Hu even helped coin up the term “Qigong”. As this isn’t the topic of this thread, to keep on track please PM me if you require further information. Thank you 🙏
  6. I have already put up a HUGE warning that people with Qi deviation already should not use this system to fix it. Instead go and see a Clinical Qigong Therapist as any self taught system will make it worse, not just this one. The rest is people telling a teacher how to present their lineage practice based on their experiences from other systems. Then people wonder why a lot of well known teachers refuse to participate on this forum. If you really feel the need then maybe you should indiscriminately dig up every single topic with a shared practice posted on this forum and get them to post a disclaimer. Or maybe ask the mods to delete them all if they don’t have a disclaimer instead of picking on just this one. If the Tao Bums admins or mods come up with a default disclaimer then of course I will adhere to that, but for now this practice is well presented. I’m breaking this cycle of having to constantly repeat myself, no matter whatever new way you come up with to waste my time. Take up any issues with the mods, I’m sure they would have been on it already if it was an issue or will do. Sincere questions from others welcome 🙏
  7. I would also like to say that if someone was to be injured from these instructions, I would be more concerned with helping them rather than hide behind a disclaimer. However in this day and age any alternative therapy practitioner must follow strict legislation and that is being followed. If anyone should be concerned about my legality that would be my insurance and those enforcing government legislation.
  8. As a physical and online business, it has already been checked by a lawyer and everything run by insurance. I may have misread the online communication but your tone seems to comes across as interrogation/attack rather than a fellow Tao Bum taking time from their day to genuinely offer legal advise from a place of concern and kindness.
  9. And I wasn’t using diversionary tactics, I was responding to your comment about Qi deviation being a beast by detailing my experience how I tackle such issues and how I wouldn’t put anything out there that would cause such things from my training experience. Now I’ve answered your issues about legality above. Anything else?
  10. The disclaimer is worded as recommended by the NHS (the official medical organisation in the UK) and by my public liability insurance. That’s how it works for alternative health practitioners (acupuncturists, chiropractors...) in the UK. We have to use the exact words to comply with legislation and insurance. I am insured as a Clinical Qigong Therapist as my full time profession under UK Law.
  11. Disclaimer: “Hu Yaozhen Qi Clinic offers services that belong in the complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) sector. They do not serve as a substitute for a doctor’s medical advice, examination, diagnosis or treatment.” That is the disclaimer used in everything I do and part of my terms and conditions before people commit to anything coming from me. My website is in the original post but not everyone may see the disclaimer, so thank you for pointing it out. Now will every thread that contains a shared practice will follow up with a disclaimer? I have had my share of dealing with Qi deviation and would not put out anything there that from my experience would cause harm. Below is my background of my clinical qigong. During the 20th century Master Hu Yaozhen helped coin up the term “Qigong” and “Medical/Clinical Qigong”, and then opened the very first Clinical Qigong Healing Hospital in Beijing, China. Master Hu earned the title “Father of Modern day Qigong” and three generations on Master Hu’s legacy thrives through the work of the Hu Yaozhen Qi Clinic. Regardless of my experience, I always keep a beginners mind and open to answer any concerns raised.
  12. That is your opinion from your experience, below is my opinion as an instructor in that specific art and as a Clinical Qigong Therapist. Or just as in any style of Qigong, the Qi will begin the healing process... Any style in any written/book or video format can cause healing or harm. Based on the amount of books/videos out there, the harms seems to be pretty low. Personally I have seen more harm in beginners via incorrect practice of martial qigong such as iron palm/body than health/medical qigong. Overall I have seen more sports based injuries than qigong based injuries.
  13. I can vouch for Jenny Lamb’s dvd and years ago she very kindly shared teachings that involved direct contact with Immortal Teachers for absolutely free. That said the energetics of each spontaneous qigong differ greatly. With moving forms you see the differences visually with spontaneous styles you cannot visually see the difference. Even Spontaneous Five Animal Play differs greatly. For example the one saved, compiled and readjusted by Liang Shifeng in the 1980s differs greatly to the one taught decades earlier by Hu Yaozhen (1879-1973). Then there are arts with foundations based in spontaneous qigong (that utilise Stillness, Movement and Spontaneous). So the chi is fired up to specific standards set out by the past Masters. Meaning we don’t settle for sensations such as tingling or warmth, the internal circulation must be so strong that it moves your body. So in those arts if the meridians in the arms are truly open then as soon as the practitioner enters the Qi State, the arms will immediately start to move on their own as the flow of Qi is that strong. Once all orbits open naturally then the practitioner may harness the chi to perform classical forms. I always tell people to go with the one that calls out to them, they will get a feeling or calling.
  14. i need help stoping spontaneous movement

Exactly what I expected after privately assessing what went wrong here. Of all the Qi deviation I have seen in clinic, most are caused by practitioners of genuine systems who decide to teach when they have not trained as a Teacher. Sudden strong transmission of Qi + not being able to correctly energetically align a person = trouble. This case requires direct intervention and had akasuna123 started from the free instructions not only would they have saved a fortune (even when I charge its only a fraction of what they paid!) but be on a completely different healing journey. akasuna123 asks for the details of his situation to remain confidential so I will not delve who this “Master” was nor go into detail. Good Teacher or gentle self practice from the well written official English script that went through hundreds of recent trails by Liangs students prior to release in written format, equals steady balanced growth. https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/47557-free-hua-tuo’s-spontaneous-five-animals-play-qigong -zi-fa-wuqinxi-dong-gong/ One of the reasons I took on the responsibility of this lineage in clinic is because I was tired of seeing Qi deviation caused by advance students (even those who learnt directly in China) teaching when not going through the Teacher and Healer training.
  15. how to stop spontaneous movement?

  16. IMPORTANT! After reading this topic lately a number of people have been sending me PMs asking about any risks of Qi deviation for this practice. They say that they have learned from a number of “Masters” and can’t stop moving/out of control and feel very unwell for a long time. The question is if this practice will also cause those symptoms? Feeling unwell and being out of control ARE symptoms of Qi deviation. Unfortunately some people think it is normal to have these affects whilst moving from one “teacher” to another. By the time they ask if your system can cause Qi deviation they already have had it for a long time without even realising! If you are suffering from these symptoms that your movements are out of control, so bad that you can’t cross a road safely and still ask if a system can cause Qi deviation then you need to stop and look within. Genuine and correctly taught practices don’t cause discomfort, never mind such severe symptoms. I highly advise that such a person should immediately stop all practices. DO NOT even attempt this practice. This practice is NOT a quick fix. In Clinic I have even seen a simple 8 brocade practice go badly wrong in clients with underlying Qi deviation. That is the reason to stop all practices. This practice and many others work great to restore health & vitality but Qi deviation where movements are out of control needs direct intervention. Instead find a good Clinical Qigong Therapist (Wai Qi Liao Fa/ć€–æ°Łç™‚æł•) or practitioner of Taoist Medicine (Dao Yi 道醫). In severe cases mainstream TCM won’t cut it. P.S. Before someone jumps in to say “see what openly shared instructions can do”. Those rare cases that have been bought up are due to some “Masters” out there NOT from the written instructions here. Of all the Qi deviation I have seen in clinic, it is mostly caused by practitioners of genuine systems who decide to teach when they have not trained as a Teacher. Sudden strong transmission of Qi + not being able to correctly energetically align a person = trouble. Good Teacher or gentle self practice from videos/books/written instructions, equals steady balanced growth.
  17. Favourite qigong system

Also Dragon Gate Sanctuary is awesome.
  18. Favourite qigong system

I started with Taoist Ziran (Natural) Qigong. https://www.qigonguk.com/taoist-ziran-natural-qigong Which simply comes down to that I can move my body to perform a Qigong form/movement like a lot of practices or I can fire up my Qi and “it” performs the movement whilst my consciousness hangs around the state between sleep and dreaming (but with complete awareness). The second way is how natural qigong practitioners perform classical forms, generate and then stabilise the vigorous energy flow through Zhang Zhuang and then skilfully harness vigorously energy flow. It opened many doors for me where Masters of other systems took me straight onto advanced practices which some I ended up inheriting. I could never have imagined the path it led me down, in my teens I simply set my life goal to learn Old school Taoist Arts based on Zi Fa Gong (è‡Șç™Œć‹•ćŠŸ). Favourite systems: Stillness Movement Neigong, Old school Taoist Arts based on Zi Fa Gong (è‡Șç™Œć‹•ćŠŸ) one being Taoist Ziran Qigong, Hua Tuo Spontaneous Five Animal Play, Taoist Shamanism (Wu,ć·«) and Taoist Internal Martial Arts coming from a Zi Fa Gong (è‡Șç™Œć‹•ćŠŸ) approach. Obviously this will sound biased because that’s most of what I teach, but I teach what has delivered results for me and the results I see in my qigong healing hospital style clinic.
  19. Psychic Attack

Big subject, I approach psychic attack from Taoist Shamanism (Wu/ć·«). Energetic work, help from spiritual teachers classically known as immortals, Fu talismans and direct confrontation to sort the issue out for good. Here is one very important tip. Shielding in a number of Taoist practices is done with purple and golden light. Put a purple bubble around you then a gold bubble within. Purple will cloak you and gold will raise your energetic vibration. Gold alone will make you Light up and draw a lot of attention from people who “drain” you and other parasites. So be sure to put purple on the outside.

  22. Gift of the Tao are part of the Stillness Movement Neigong lineage, not what I’m speaking of in this topic, just to be clear. They are highly energetic movements developed from Dreaming Neigong. They are reversed engineered meaning when the Masters obersrved energetics from the “higher levels”, they found ways to mimic those energetics. So when you do those movements you shift or kind of “download” those high level energetics. My favourite has to be Sequential Energy Center Activation, Balancing, & Dimensional Expansion. Works with 12 energy centers. There are many topics on Gift of the Tao that you can find in the search function. More information on Stillness Movement Neigong here http://www.qigongamerica.com/
  23. Long term you jump right into the flow. Every spontaneous qigong differs vastly, not all work on the many levels discovered by past masters, that is why you find many traditional lineages as opposed to jump right in basic modern ones.
