yep, I read the same thing. The aim is to have another body where "insert" our consciousness. Is not something theoretical but it's really a practical goal. We are conscious only in our carnal body. The next question is...how to be conscious in another body? Continuous Self-remembering? Sexual practices and abstinece? None of all?

However I think it is only a matter of words; looks like the astral body and world is something to be reached indirectly working correctly on ourselves, and not something to be directly worked on.

Hi everybody, another post on Xiao Yao Pai, I read all posts on this forum and I didn't understand many things. I read many experiences about people that took the initiation, had great time, but then no other reviews from long time disciples. Looks like everyone is interested in the special effects of this initiation and then stop. Can anybody explain me how the school works after some years, if there are other benefit and so on? I'm very interested in it, looks like this school is offering a "faster" way, with the great help of a Xian Immortal, a direct connection with the root of Taoism, direct work on the shen energy from the first day...sounds amazing, but we know that sometimes faster is not better. Yep I'm very skeptical, but how to know that it is a real Immortal Spirit that wants my evolution? Is there a real Immortal available for any Xiao Yao Pai disciple? 100000 disciples, 100000 Immortals? Great opportunity or great fiction? And is this initiation really safe? Is this spiritual connection really free from risks?

what do you think about the division between Hou Tian and Xian Tian paths? Many don't agree on this differentiation

Now, the next question would be why theories form Indo-Europe, Indian Yoga, Greek Philosophy and Hermetic thinking are so far from Daoist and Buddhist Practices...the goal is the same, but how many differences in the way to reach it! However are there any points in common between all this pratices? For example, many of western/eastern paths start with introspection and easy forms of meditation to become familiar to our inner life. In my opinion between all kinds of real paths there are some major points in common, based on the structure of the human being, that is the same on the earth.

Reading some Gurdjieff and Ouspensky books, looks like the first remarkable step is bulding a new body, the Astral Body. Is not a total immortal body, but it give the possibility to become conscious in another body and have some forms of control on the physical body. Do you think is the Ghost Immortal Body (Gui Xian) in daoist paths? Is it like a body of total yin? Anyone attained this level here? What are your experiences about it?

Hi, I'm 26, I'm from Italy. I'm here becouse I'm seeking in Fourth Way and Taoist paths. First of all I'm looking for real and working Gurdjeffian Schools (if they still exist and work...), and then I'm looking to understand the main paths in the vastity of taoist schools; for now I understood that the 2 main branches are Xian-tian and Hou-tian. Xian Tian like Dragon Gate and Hou Tian like Mo Pai. The first works more with Yang Shen the second with the fusion of Yang and Yi qi, however not everyone agree with that sentence. Hope to find interesting infos!
