  1. Hmm ok. I think I am confusing tingles with waves of bliss. What I think of as tingles is almost orgasmic or like a sneeze. It's very pleasant waves moving up my legs and down the arms and sometimes over my whole body or crown of the head.
  2. This is my go to book for this kind of stuff. There is a section called: Practice List and is a set of skills to work on to ease symptoms. Why do you want to stop the tingles. I like that about it. The twitches I think are related to the energy clearing blockages. The symptoms can be a distraction though. Here's the link: http://biologyofkundalini.com/article.php?story=KundaliniPracticeSkillsList
  3. Perhaps I should have phrased my thread more like these are some Bible verses I've been meditating on and more so what is your guys opinion.
  4. Oh the soul comment was to frater. I combined my response. My contention is that early Christians were more concerned with enlightenment than what is taught today. The burning bush is one example. What did you want to contend with me on? And to be honest maybe you're right I am full of hate. I have next to no friends and live mostly in solitude. I came on here to find like minded friends really so I guess I was hurt by prior comments. So sorry. I'm really not a bad guy. Just not good with people.
  5. Well perhaps I overreacted. Just the initial post irked me. Suppose he made up for it. Look I only know what's written in scripture. I'm not going to get in debates about a soul. That is a question of faith. And no by scripture a Soul is not your own. I already posted scripture on that. The idea is to obtain the resurrection during life to possess it if what Phillip says is true. “To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.” ― Thomas Aquinas
  6. Those who say that the Lord died first and (then) rose up are in error, for he rose up first and (then) died. If one does not first attain the resurrection, he will not die. Those who say they will die first and then rise are in error. If they do not first receive the resurrection while they live, when they die they will receive nothing. So also when speaking about baptism they say, "Baptism is a great thing," because if people receive it they will live. And in addition gnostic texts refer to the Holy Spirit as a feminine force: Some said, "Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit." They are in error. They do not know what they are saying. When did a woman ever conceive by a woman? Mary is the virgin whom no power defiled. She is a great anathema to the Hebrews, who are the apostles and the apostolic men. This virgin whom no power defiled [...] the powers defile themselves. And the Lord would not have said "My Father who is in Heaven" (Mt 16:17), unless he had had another father, but he would have said simply "My father".
  7. The cross is a metaphor for sacrifice of the flesh or ego. It is both literal and esoteric. Hence the verse: Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. Additionally, the serpent could be seen as following the lowest carnal/animal desire. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Again here we see the battle of following Spirit vs. Flesh. Peter mentions the damage received to the Soul. 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Let me pose this question. Did Jesus believe Peter was Satan here? Or did he use it to refer to someone acting from a lower fear based human state. Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns."
  8. Cayce was another one that related Biblical Texts to the human body. Here is his work on Revelations: http://www.near-death.com/experiences/cayce10.html 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. I don't really agree with sex magic of Weor either. But it is what it is. Here's another reference. http://www.spiritofthescripture.com/id534-moses-the-bronze-serpent-and-kundalini.html I like the question they raise. If Moses taught his people to shun idols. Why would he then construct an idol for healing. If God opposes idolatry then why would his Servant construct an idol? 9 They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. 10 Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
  9. Also, in response to the writings of Melchizedek. I don't think he generally wrote much but rather had disciples kind of like Jesus. Being that Melchizedek is seen as an incarnation of God, I would say anything divinely inspired could be said to be written by him or inspired through him. I think moreso he has been attributed to either writing or directing the writing of Psalms.
  10. And no I don't believe in the rich tradition of Taoism or Christianity. I don't believe in any tradition of men. Only the Word of God. 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: 11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. 12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? 13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. 14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
  11. Well, I admit I make stretches on DNA. That's where I'll stop. I became fascinated with the Russian DNA experiments: As well as had been struggling with chapter 11 in Revelations and Jacobs Ladder. To be honest I don't want to get into an argument. I spent a lot of time thinking and meditating on the symbology of these lesser understood Bible Verses. I'll give you I'm reaching on the DNA. But definitely not on the lifting of the serpent. I also, think you read the Bible to literally. How do you interpret the slave and servent story of the old testament. Do you literally believe Moses beat slaves. Or is it moreso a play on looking at someone as property vs. an individual person. This is the kind of thing I mean with you. And this play on sacred sexuality is not something I "made up". Samuel Aun Weor wrote countless books on esoteric Christianity http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samael_Aun_Weor They even have a video about it on youtube by Thelema. I also think that the Bible is written in such a way that is has double and triple meanings because of the powerful language it uses. So, I would say if that's what the story means to you at this particular time in your life then all the power to you.
  12. Right after the talking serpent we have the magic staff THROWDOWN HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 8 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 9 “When Pharaoh says to you, ‘Perform a miracle,’ then say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh,’ and it will become a snake.” 10 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the Lord commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. 11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: 12 Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.13 Yet Pharaoh’s heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as theLord had said.
  13. So he believes the talking serpent in the garden. Can you not post in this thread anymore? No seriously. I don't want to talk to you. You aren't adding anything. I already posted the meaning of the serpent. It's begetting not through the divine will of God. It's the humans conscious desire to beget. It deals with the begotten begetting. And the begot beget. so on and so forth. You really need to read the Gospel of Phillip to understand Genesis. Else you will be teaching people about a talking serpent. Anywho, other than this guy. I thought this thread might serve as a bridge between Christian doctrine and Taoism as they seem to be compatible at least looking at Gnostic texts with this idea that there is a higher level sexual union to be made.
  14. So, I need a scientific paper on energy centers. OK!!!!! I don't need to explain anything to you. You're a hater with nothing significant to add to any of what I'm talking about. When you provide something pertinent or a counter point of what the bronze serprent is to you. Then you'll have my attention. Until then this is the summary of your argument. That's not true because ................................. Yeah ........ because you don't have a counter argument. You're a hater. I'm not explaining revelations 11 to you or Jacobs ladder. What's the point. Not like you'll have anything interesting to add to it. You'll be like that's not true because ......................... Oh wait again, you have no because. Do you actually offer any legitimate counterpoints to any of the verses I attempted to interpret? Also, the one link I posted was from acupuncture today. I don't know if this counts in your worldview. You're funny. You post here but need a scientific journal that's peer approved to be able to discern what's right and what's wrong. Good luck in your search lol.
  15. Well the true meaning is Moses had a magic staff embued with special powers.
