What's your current desktop wallpaper?

You can upload the picture for example here:

http://tinypic.com/

to be able to post it in this thread.

(After the upload on tinypic, click on the displayed picture two times, then click on "View Raw Image",

then insert that link from your browser into the "Image" URL option in the post you are going to add in this thread. That should work well for the successful upload in a thread on thedaobums.)

My current desktop wallpaper: :)

My all-time favorite oil painting of Catwoman,

painted by the artist Joe DeVito in 1992, scanned from the cover of my copy of the book

"The Further Adventures of Batman, Vol. 3: Featuring Catwoman".

Mysterious, strong and graceful: I simply love this painting, a Mysterious Female indeed!

What is Batman thinking in this moment?

Well, without any doubt, he is thinking about poetry:

The Mysterious Cat by Vachel Lindsay

I saw a proud, mysterious cat,
I saw a proud, mysterious cat
Too proud to catch a mouse or rat—
Mew, mew, mew.

But catnip she would eat, and purr,
But catnip she would eat, and purr.
And goldfish she did much prefer—
Mew, mew, mew.

I saw a cat—'twas but a dream,
I saw a cat—'twas but a dream
Who scorned the slave that brought her cream—
Mew, mew, mew.

Unless the slave were dressed in style,
Unless the slave were dressed in style
And knelt before her all the while—
Mew, mew, mew.

Did you ever hear of a thing like that?
Did you ever hear of a thing like that?
Did you ever hear of a thing like that?
Oh, what a proud mysterious cat.
Oh, what a proud mysterious cat.
Oh, what a proud mysterious cat.
Mew . . . mew . . . mew.

That's because I didn't upload it, I just pointed to an existing copy out on the Internet. Do you not see it? (I see it in both my post and your reply...)

No, I can't see it and when I click on the link, a loading screen opens, seemingly loading forever with no result!

cool idea

I also can't see your pic Brian, quite a few here fall into the same hole it seems...

just a line of text with the file name and an endless loading screen.

most show up fine, but quite a few are lost in textloading land

I use my son's laptop, here is his current desktop:

Greedy I suppose but I have a collection of paintings in a folder and the desktop scrolls through them every 30 mins. I'll link a few because I think they're pretty..
