...

London Calling.

I am wondering whether UK/London Tao Bums might be interested in a social event.

I am not sure whether it would be a good idea.

Or not.

I would like to request some feedback.

So, any general thoughts anyone has in relation to this would be very welcome.

Thanx in advance.

I am in London and at first I was also not sure whether it would be a good idea either but I am intriqued Cap as you seem like an interesting fellow and who else may come along too?

Not sure what you have in mind but I am not a big drinker of alcohol and like to talk not shout most of the time so a pub is not my preference however I am partial to good conversation, tea, coffee and cake and or food. Indian, Thai, Italian and Chinese (Wonkei?) are all good not all at once though or in that order.

Having typed all that I am flexible also.

I work in Canary Wharf and reside in SE4. Happy to meet anywhere that is reasonable for all parties, I am sure it would be interesting and educational.

The wind has just carried away my caution.

All my best,

When you see something from all angles it can be understood better, although the best way to understand something is to become it.

I am teetotal.

I don't like noisy places either.

Tea and cake sounds nice though.

Thank you Infinity.

We got two brave souls, at least!

You and me!

Yeah, it seems incredibly evil, but maybe there's some benefit to that.

Lived south of the river for a few years back in the day and enjoyed it.
When there was no work oop north, London offered a nice living.
Both our lads schooling was all done in London so they speak like extras in Eastenders.
London is for young folks not old farties like me.
I'm city-averse these days.

Spent years being a City Gent, but am now "Out in the Sticks" !!!

Surrey based & working in Guildford.

Although the company does have a modest Office in the City, I'm chained to my Desk here most days.

Wish you guys all the best for your meet up tho.

Just heard from Jimmy Yu ( Guo Gu) that he's coming to London to lead a weekend retreat in early December.
That'll be worth attending.
Will post more info when it arrives.

Those are all fake photos.

I am really just a little old man with a limp and a stick and a mental health problem.

To boot!

You people have trouble distinguishing fantasy from reality.

You know that.
