What the heck is this place? Simply put, TheTaoBums.com is an online forum for discussing cultivation practices in a spiritual context. The name "The Tao Bums" is inspired both from the famous Jack Keroac novel "The Dharma Bums", and from the fact that many of the members either actively practice, or are familiar with Taoist cultivation methods. TheTaoBums was created and is maintained by Sean Omlor. It's provided as a gift in service to the community of seekers and as such is a labor of love. TheTaoBums is not affiliated with any single cultivation school or method. Discussion related to any of the world's varied cultivation practices is most welcome. TheTaoBums is also not affiliated with any gender, despite the potential connotation of the "Bums". Men, women, hermaphrodites, transexuals and discarnate entities are all equally welcome. Uhhh, Where Should I Post? In the Taoist Discussion section maintain a sincere intention to keep your posts relevant to cultivation and to stay on topic if you are replying in a thread. The Personal Practice Discussion subsection is where you can start your own topic detailing your daily cultivation work for discussion with the community.
